Beautiful place, wonderful hostessAfter all nice (and true) words which are already published on TA about the place and charming Paola, we could only add our gratitude to the hostess (and her supporting and loving family which we had a chance to see around) for the wonderful stay for four - unfortunately rainy - April days in the Villa. Grazie mille, Paola.

3 day stayPaula and her family welcomed us with open arms and open hearts. Paula's home was beautiful beyond words. - warm and inviting. From the exquisite tiled floors to stunning gardens I was swept away by the magic and beauty at the Villa Mustafa. The Villa was actually once owned by a singer to the Pope! We were served breakfast of a fresh omelette with herbs from the chickens in her backyard everyday. Paula's baking was superb! We came to Villa Mustafa to celebrate our 15 wedding anniversary. I never expected to find this gem in the mountains of Perugia. This was the closest to home I have ever experienced in anyone else's house! Grazia Paula and family for sharing your history and your beautiful Villa. We are defiantly coming again!

Old world charmThis is a magnificent historic villa, situated amongst olive trees and vines and just a few kilometres from the beautiful hill town of Montefalco. The host is truly welcoming, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We were staying there during the recent earthquakes, and although we experienced the tremor for at least 20 seconds, fortunately there didn't appear to be any damage to the property. Our host checked on our well being and provided as with accomodation for a further 2 nights due to the next town we were due to visit was greatly affected by the earthquake. Freshly baked variety of breakfast treats each morning and beautiful coffee was a great start to the day. The location is not only terrific to visit Montefalco, but also other nearby towns such Bevagna, Trevi, Todi, and Spoleto..

Un piccolo angolo di ParadisoMy wife and I stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much that we came back this year with some friends, our daughter and our granddaughter. As mentioned in other reviews Villa Mustafa is an old farm property that has been beautifully converted into a five bedroom B&B.It is surrounded by a vineyard and an olive grove. In addition there is a delightful lawn area with beautiful spaces to sit and relax in the afternoon. The rooms are rustic but spacious and the beds are very comfortable. All in all it is a very relaxing environment . In addition the location is excellent, being only a 30 minute drive to many of the towns of Umbria, such as Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto. The most outstanding feature of Villa Mustafa, however, is the hostess, Paola. She is a thoroughly engaging and attentive hostess ,with a smile that never stops. In addition she makes the most beautiful breakfasts, featuring her homemade tarts and omelettes made from her farm fresh eggs, often assisted by her delightful mother, Vincenza. Needless to say that this is a place that I would highly recommend and hope to return soon

good spot near MontefalcoBig rooms, mattress was super-hard (and i usually don't complain about stuff like that), bed was too short, no anti-mosquito protection in the window frames (once a big hornet tried to get inside), the view from the garden is blocked by house itself. Breakfast was just o.k. In may there are glowworms in the garden, which is lovely. The owner is very friendly.
