  una mala experiencia

  Este verano tenia reservado en este hotel un apartamento para 2 personas con vistas parciales al mar,como figuraba en la publicidad.Vistas las opiniones de los demás viajeros,supongo que el resto de habitaciones y apartamentos se corresponderán a lo contratado pero quiero avisar que este apartamento en concreto,es una habitación no muy grande ,en la planta baja,sin vista parcial al mar,da a la pared del chalet de enfrente, y que la cocina está en el pasillo,es una cocina grande y antigua,para mí lo menos parecido a un apartamento con vista parcial al mar.Como llevaba la foto de la publicidad el dueño me dijo que la vista lateral al mar quería decir que no estaba de frente. como no me gusta que me engañen,me fui previo pago de una noche ya que tenía nuestros pasaportes.Quiero también advertir,ya que no lo veo en los comentarios,que es cierto que está cerca del puerto pero hay que subir para llegar más de 100 escaleras lo que para muchas personas puede ser un grave problema

  Muy caro para lo básico que es

  Hemos estado 3 noches en este hostal. La situación no es mala, lo único que hay que subir bastantes escaleras. La habitación y el baño nos parecieron anticuados, el baño además estaba fuera de la habitación lo que resultaba bastante incómodo y las vistas eran a la casa de enfrente, por último las indicaciones del dueño del hostal fueron nefastas. Por todo esto pagamos 454 euros, si hubiera sido menos aun estaría justificado pero por ese precio no lo recomendaría en absoluto.

  Amazing Place

  Just got back from Croatia and stayed in 8 different places a mixture of hotels and apartments and this was the best out of all of them, the view from the balcony is incredible, the location is just a few steps down into the port, I wouldnt advise walking up the steps when arriving if you have a suitcase, the owner is very friendly and informative he even left a bottle a wine and beer for us on arriving and when we left he gave us some local lavender which was a great touch

  Wonderful host and beautiful location!

  When in Hvar, we are staying at the Villa Milton which I would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the views of Hvar while staying in a clean and beautiful room overlooking the Adriadic. The room we are staying in is spotless and the modern decorations add a great touch. The host is very friendly and made sure all of our needs were met! He even delivered us beautiful plates of Croatian cheese and olives on a rainy day to ensure we werent bored! The elevation of the apartment provides a spectacular view... truly a lovely place to stay!

  Disappointing stay - annex

  My wife and I booked a 5 night stay at Villa Milton in Hvar for our honeymoon through our travel agent. Unfortunately, we were placed in the annex, the building right next door. Having been to other hotels elsewhere in Croatia prior to arriving, we were extremely disappointed. Our travel agent booked the stay for us, based on the photos available on booking.com that we had reviewed and no where were pictures of the annex on that site. Despite the host being very kind, he was unable to help us in upgrading to something that was more welcoming. The owner told us to contact Expedia for a change of accommodations and that it was not a matter of money to him. However, when we did so, he refused to refund us so that we can stay elsewhere. The owner admitted to the fact that the pictures of our room in the annex were not on their website booking.com (when googling the hotel, the official website brings you there). Here are the things with which we were disappointed: - Upon arrival, the host told us that our room wasnt ready yet, and we could leave our luggages in his garden. We refused and stayed with our luggages because this was an open space, accessible to anyone. - When our room was ready, our luggages were passed over through shrubs to the neighbouring building. - Along the 20m walkway to this annex building, we had to face a dozen hornets and wasps. This occurred on a daily basis, whenever leaving or entering the establishment. When we told the host about this problem, he suggested we use biokill ourselves to spray and kill the hornets and wasps. - There was no shampoo, soap, toilet paper or bathrobes as advertised. - We were informed that they were not responsible if the doors were not locked and if personal belongings were taken, however the lock on the patio door was broken. - The shower head was not adjustable, as it was broken. The overall state of the bathroom was in terrible condition. (See photos) - The air conditioner had either of two settings, Arctic cold or Saharan hot because it is directly above the bed. - In general, the room was extremely dated. Despite the beautiful view, and the gifts of wine and lavender from our host, we were uncomfortable and upset that we did not get to experience Villa Milton as advertised. Be careful when booking and DO NOT book the annex.
