  Perfect Hotel

  I have just returned from a weeks stay here. Normally we stay 4* but after reading all the reviews decided to give this hotel a try. We were not disappointed, it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We had 2 rooms both with twin beds and they were spotlessly clean and cleaned every day we were there. There is a free safe to use, toiletries and towels provided, a fridge with water supplied (charged 2 euros a bottle and replenished daily), hairdryer and 2 towels for the pool supplied in a beach bag that you could change for fresh ones if you wanted to. Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 10am and has a wide choice from cereals, bacon and scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, toast, pancakes, bread, ham and cheese. There are only 43 rooms so it doesn't get overcrowded but allows you to enjoy a peaceful start to the day. The receptionists were all very helpful and accommodating and it was quiet on a night so you didnt have any problem in going to sleep. The clean outdoor pool always had sunloungers available and was very relaxing to cool down in from the heat. The location of the hotel right on the lake front is great There is a Spar supermarket just 5 mins up the road that stocked everything you may need. Bardolino bus station was only 10 min walk away and the tourist information office there had timetables and also sold bus tickets, as well as attraction tickets to Gardaland, cable car at Monte Baldo (Malcesine) etc and organised tours. We used the bus service to go to Gardaland, Peschiera and Malcesine and they were very reliable. Bardolino has a wide choice of restaurants and we tried a different one every night, the centre of Bardolino was just a 10 min walk along the lakeside and this was also where you could catch the ferry to the other towns on the lake. The ferry tickets go on sale 20 minutes before the ferry leaves and there are timetables available in reception. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Bardolino.

  A lovely hotel with great staff.

  Firstly the location of the hotel is perfect in Bardolino and you can walk out of the front door and onto the lakeside path. Beautiful views of the lake from some rooms and the rooftop terrace. Our room was spacious with a nice bathroom with a double shower. It was kept spotlessly clean. The hotel provide a pool/beach bag and towels for you to use, free of charge. The pool, although "smallish" was great and never over crowded despite the hotel being full. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food to suit all tastes and nationalities. The honey, still on the comb, was a favourite of mine on the fresh fluffy pancakes (put em through the toaster twice)! I found the staff to be approachable, helpful, and friendly. I've stayed in four star hotels that weren't as good as this one and we thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay. Would we go back to Hotel Letizia? Yes, without question.

  Great hotel in a fantastic location

  Spent a week here at the end of August. Great location on the edge of Bardolino, a short walk into the centre of the resort. Can't fault any aspect of the hotel from rooms to cleanliness to facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

  Excellent hotel

  We have recently returned after a 10 day stay at the hotel and found everything to be of a very high standard. The staff were both friendly and efficient and the housekeeping was superb. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and the hotel is located beside the lake a close to restaurants etc.

  A super place to stay!

  Great location across the road from the lake. More suited to adults rather than families with lots of spaces to sit with a drink and relax. Spotlessly clean everywhere with helpful staff. The breakfasts were fantastic with everything that you could possibly want. A great base to visit so many interesting places. We stayed for 2 weeks and did something new each day and tried lots of different restaurants which are just a short walk away. Thoroughly recommended.
