A medium 3 star pensionActually it is not a real hotel but a pension. No elevator available you can reach the floors only in a narrow starway. The facility is in a very good surroundings perfect for tourists. The rooms are a little bit used, no hairdryer, the breakfast is poor but good available for good price.

Beautiful view, lovely and peaceful locationWe stayed at the Korda Villa for 3 nights and the reason we chose this place was their location - beautiful, peaceful area away from the busy city life. You can easily get a great and reasonable taxi service back to the city centre if you like. The Villa is stunning outside but I must admit inside it remains me at the 90's.... no improvement which is acceptable for some areas but not the entire hotel. Our room was lovely but really could do some TLC, a great deep cleaning (was really dusty and the dust came from our mattress) and some personal touches - glasses in the room, liquid soap in the bathroom. They could do much better with some not too expensive improvements. Overall was a great experience, lovely and helpful staff, great parking facility, excellent coffee at the reception. Thank you.

good, but not convenientLovely old building, but inside seems a work in progress. Rooms were small but comfortable, breakfast (extra charge) was small but adequate. Seems understaffed most of the time. The location is quiet, in a residential neighborhood, but not easy to get to or from. The website says it's near public transit, which is technically true. However, the most convenient bus only runs for a few hours in the a.m. and a few in the p.m.--roughly rush hours. At other times you need to go a bit out of the way and do a couple of transfers to get back to town. If you're in Budapest to see things, this is not where to stay. If you're in Budapest to relax because you're already familiar with the town, this is probably a winner.

Great views of BudapestClean, reasonably priced. Older building with No elevator so it is a struggle to get luggage up to the rooms. Staff are a bit offhand. All in all not too bad. A bit out of the way but quiet. Good views over the city from the front rooms.

If you are going to stay in the city 3 or more nights this is absolutely right choice for you.Summary: please find below firstly bad and afterwards good things related the hotel, you will be seeing my general evaluation in the end ;) Bad Thigs : Bed shirts and towels are not changed daily however they tiding the beds when they come to collect rubbish. We have requested one double bed bedroom but they gave us room with two beds which were approximated to each other and was not as much comfortable as one double bed bedroom. They were giving shower gel and toilet paper, new towels only buy request. There is not hair dryer. There is not lift for the upper rooms. & GOOD THINGS ( definetly much more than bad things ) : The silence and nature around the hotel was really amazing. The room rubbish collection is done everyday ( however shirts and towels are not being changed daily.) Rooms are big, comfortable simple but stylish. Bathroom is small but made with new materials, looks in very good conditions. Doors of the rooms are good. Walls paint is new and walls have other accessories too. There is very close bus stop to the hotel from the city center and you can reach hotel within 25 min during the night by bus 931. ( however during the day it is not that much easy and apporx. takes 60 min by public transport ) People working there are nice, helpful, hardworking kind actually. The entrance of the hotel and balcony was absolutely stunning. Drinking coffee there was amazing. Rooms are big, comfortable simple but stylish. Bathroom is small but made with new materials, looks in very good condition. Doors of the rooms are good looking and well painted in white. Walls paint is new and walls have other accessories too. This hotel belongs to one of old times famous Hungarian and very beloved singers named as György Korda. He is also living in the property with his wife in the other side of the hotel :D however i did not have chance to meet them as I was very full. Upper rooms have very good city view and balconies ( however this rooms are smaller than ground floor rooms ) It is worthy and good feel in general to stay here even little bit far ( 6km ) from the city center. Pirce against profit is very high measured based on my global experiences. Public transport options is still good solution. tranfer ticket is 1,5 Euro and ona way ticket is 1 you can also try 24, 48, 72 hours tickets for public transport.
