  What a great find!

  We stayed here for 7 nights and were really pleased with the quality of the accommodation and the service that we recieved from Anna, the hostess. Villa Kameni Cvit is a beautiful traditional stone house consisting of 3 large air conditioned rooms with own bathrooms. The guesthouse has a shared kitchen with good facilities, including an espresso machine with free coffee which was very welcome! The accommodation had been recently renovated and was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The central location just outside the palace walls was ideal for us as we were very close to the action but it was a little more peaceful than if we had been staying within the walls of Diocletian's Palace. The guesthouse overlooked a small square and we really enjoyed watching everyday Croatian life take place here. There was a bakery and supermarket just a few doors away from the guesthouse so we could pop out and get fresh bread every morning, and we were around five minutes walk from the waterfront. The guesthouse is in a good neighbourhood and me and my Mum always felt very safe here, unlike some holiday destinations that I have visited. I'm really glad I wasn't put off by a negative review that I saw on this site as this was posted a few years ago and refers to a previous manager. We found the hostess, Anna to be very nice and helpful, she met us from the taxi and made sure we knew where everything was and had everything we needed. I will be reccomending this accommodation to friends and hope to return one day, as there is a lot to see in the Split area and Villa Kameni Cvit is an ideal base for exploration.

  Lovely

  Villa "Kameni Cvit" is a B&B located in the center of Split. Notice that it's not a hotel - there is no reception, you have to agree meeting hour with owner to get the keys etc. Building is really charming, it has a little patio, and there is a small park next to the entrance. Owner is a lovely young lady, very polite and helpful. Location is very good, very close to all main tourists spots. Room was quite big and very comfortable, with working AC. I spend nice time there - would love to come back. Recommended!

  Lovely place

  Small house near the old city. Everything was clean and the owner was very polite and clear. She showed us where we could eat and park our car. The only "bad" thing was the shower, you had to sit in the bath to shower since the ceiling was to low to stand (we stayed on the top floor).

  Amazing!

  Excellent location only 2 minutes walk to the Diocletian Palace. Tea and Ana were extremely welcoming owners and went above and beyond what I had expected. Our room was stunning, spacious and exceptionally clean with large television, excellent free wifi and air conditioning. The kitchen was very handy and well equipped when not going out for food. The room exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than on the website pictures. Cannot fault anything and wouldn't think twice about staying here again when in beautiful Split.   Fantastic location, beautiful house

  We just returned from a week at this house in Split. We were a little dubious at first, as the parking is kind of limited and there's basically no indoor common area--the kitchen is quite small, and the "living room" is the courtyard. But thankfully we had beautiful weather and we took full advantage of the outdoor space. The bedrooms are spacious, and we were quite comfortable. We rented the entire house for our family, including two young children. The best two things about the house are the location and the owner. The house is steps from the old town part of Split and convenient to almost everything. We walked pretty much everywhere, and we especially enjoyed being able to go out and wander in early mornings and evenings, when the tour groups weren't there. Ana, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. She truly went out of her way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. She was available 24/7 to answer questions, and since she lives nearby, she stopped in a few times to drop off some groceries and fresh towels for us. Our only complaint was that the street tended to get noisy at times--there's a nearby school, and the kids congregated in the park across the street. But it wasn't an issue for more than a couple hours a day. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Villa Kameni Cvit. Split is marvelous, and we could have happily stayed for a second week.
