    Maravilloso lugar

Maravilloso hotel y maravilloso trato. La piscina espectacular y cerca de Venecia. En Italia los hoteles dejan mucho que desear, no son como en España, pero este concretamente se merece un 10 en tpda regla. Tienen tambien un restaurante enfrente maravilloso.

    Enjoyable stay

It was nice staying in a property with the history of this hotel. The pool in the grounds with lounges and umbrellas was excellent. Parking was easy. The wi-fi was not great and the breakfast was quite simple. Mirano didn't have much on offer for dinner.

    Park Hotel Villa Giustinian

This is a typical old Italian Hotel, I was so sorry to leave this place. Never have I known the staff to be so nice and helpful. We had a problem with the hot water and it was immediately sorted out. We arrived at 1am and nothing was to much trouble they opened the bar for us, and could not do enough to please you. The next time I go, and thats a definite, I will get a room upgrade as they are very basic, so if you are looking for the height of luxury I would not stay here. Personally its just beautiful easy transport serivices. We hired a car and do not trust their GPS it took us to the wrong places on 3 occasions and a 1am in the morning in a strange place was not fun. We used Google maps in the end. A beautiful 4 night break and one I will not forget.. Cannot wait for the next time. Thank you Park Hotel Villa Giustinian for a wonderful trip for our wedding anniversary.

    Our honeymoon

We decided on travelling here for our honeymoon as I loved the old Italian style portrayed in the pictures, the location wasn't too far from Venice yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The main building looked beautiful upon arrival exactly as expected however, I was a little disappointed by our first encounter of the staff. Arriving at around 10.30pm the boy behind the counter gave us our key and literally just took us out of the main building and pointed us to a "pink house, ground floor", this was extremely unhelpful considering it was dark outside. We didn't have a clue where we were going and when we found the "pink house" the numbers were not on the outside and the doors looked like they couldn't be opened from the outside. After trying our luck with the black door we got into the building where we finally found the numbers and our room. The room was okay, the bed was inviting very well made up with a ensuite. In the cupboards were numerous blankets. There was a air conditioning unit in the room but no instructions as to how it worked. When we got into bed we discovered that the beds were literally 2 fold out beds pushed together (not very well either as there was a huge difference in the bed heights) so we couldn't even cuddle in bed as it was very uncomfortable. The room appeared to be clean. The bathroom had plenty of towels, toilet roll and little packs of toiletries however....there were cobwebs left around the light fittings and hair stuck in the showerhead and the sink. The next day we had breakfast. It was merely okay. Cheese, ham, croissants, yogurts, cereal, fruit, jams, bread rolls, bacon, eggs and sausages (the later were not the best and only a small amount made) coffee was made by the lovely waitress who couldn't do enough for the guests. We asked for a taxi to the shops as we were not aware of the bus situation plus it was heavily raining. The gentleman arranged for that however the taxi was on 8 when we got in the taxi and took us God knows where ended up paying 26 and there was a few shops in a mall like setting and a couple of resturants. We spoke to a few people (who were very rude and had so much attitude) about how to get back and we did eventually get back to the hotel around 6.30pm. The next day we were going to go into Venice, the gentleman had told us to catch a bus but didn't tell us they sold tickets at the hotel. (I only know that now after reading reviews). Anyways we got back to the hotel and the sheets towels etc had been changed room was clean. There was a private party in the garden. The next day the weather was okay however Jacuzzis were not in use for the duration of our stay, the swimming pool looked lovely but we never had the weather to use it. Overall I am happy with the hotel, however... I don't think I would return here, there is nothing to see or do in the area. (The restaurant across the road is lovely! Most friendly and helpful people we met and food was delicious) Italy in general let me down and I wouldn't return here or recommend Italy to anyone.

    Classic Italian Hospitality

Villa Giustinian is like staying at a noble's house 200 years ago. You get the feeling of being welcomed as an old friend, not just a one-time guest. The rooms are comfortable with all the modern amenities like excellent wifi, and I loved the old world decor. The location setting is from the golden age of world travel to the Serene Republic of Venice. The place is easy to find, and very close to the great city. The stay here is away from the tourist throngs, yet near all the sightseeing action. I liked the grounds and main lobby the best, but I did not like being able to smoke inside LoL.
