    Visit the Restaurant!

Attached to the very nice setting of 4 star hotel villa fabulite, the restaurant is worth the detour. Daily changing menu of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and about 6 sweets; all very good. The chef only uses the best products. We had the maigre (a fish) on vegetables at 28 and a green & yellow tomato salad with rucola as appetizer at 10. Tarte tatin as desert. All very tasteful & delicate. Come with a little time to enjoy. The chef is alone in his kitchen with one waitress for the restaurant. Real cooking takes time. A discovery, fairly priced.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff!!! Must visit.

A very nice boutique hotel with beautiful gardens and well decorated rooms. Gives you the sense that you are at your home. We had a nice room with a small balcony looking to the garden. Also all the staff was really friendly. They have the beat towels and bath robes ever. Love it and for sure we will visit again. Highly recommended!!!!

A beautiful property that needs a lesson in customer service

The difference between an average hotel and amazing one is often one very simple thing: customer service. Villa Fabulite is a beautiful property in the perfect spot in Cap dAntibes. It has a great pool area, a small gym and a decent restaurant. The breakfast is lovely with many options available and each morning you dine out on the sunny terrace which is the perfect way to start the day. Beach clubs like Plage Keller and Plage Joliette are a 20 minute walk away or you can use the propertys bikes to ride which we thought was a nice touch. The staff are lovely but you can see very clearly that they all live in constant fear of the propertys owner. We saw the owner having words with different staff members a number of times whilst we were there which we thought was very strange, particularly in plain sight and ear shot of guests. The owner does not have a friendly demeanour which made us wonder why she would want to go into the hotel business in the first place! A few things that happened during our stay: - Each day when my husband and I returned from breakfast, wed find the cleaner cleaning our room. We have stayed at many, many hotels around the world and not once has our room been cleaned whilst we are at breakfast. Usual practice is for the cleaners to wait until guests head out for the day. Because my husband and I only eat a small, quick breakfast, it meant that we had to keep waiting outside our room for it to be cleaned, which was eating into our day. After a couple of days of this, I put the do not disturb sign on our door whilst we went to breakfast. When we returned we found the cleaner cleaning our room, whilst the do not disturb sign was on! It was clear to us that the owner tells the cleaners to clean the rooms as soon as she sees people enter the terrace for breakfast. I think this process needs to be revised given not all guests spend a long time at breakfast each morning and its unfair for guests to have to wait around for a room to be cleaned when you plan to get ready and head out for the day. - No decent restaurant recommendations could be provided which is one of the things we usually love about staying at a boutique hotel. - Hair dryer in room didnt work. We notified reception of this and a hair dryer was brought to us. When we returned from our day out, the hair dryer was gone again. Given our hair dryer was broken, another hair dryer should have been available to us in our room at all times rather than the inconvenience of having to go to reception to ask for one each time we needed it. - My husband became quite ill during our stay which the staff were aware of. Because he was unwell we needed extra toilet paper which I had to keep asking for (extra was never provided in the room each day, even though the staff knew my husband was unwell and that I kept asking for it). All of the above are small mishaps which added up over the period of our 5 night stay. If just one of the above incidents happened, we wouldnt think twice. We dont believe its the staffs fault, we believe its top down from management. If staff feel comfortable and happy and bring their own personalities into their work, this is where the customer service magic happens! If this can be improved over time, this will be a beautiful little hotel to stay at.

Lovely little hotel in the Cap

This is a lovely hotel tucked away in the cap. We usually stay at the more 'popular' hotels in Antibes (Eden Roc, La Garoupe) but since having a family we didn't want to spend this much! So Villa Fabulite was great - its small, no frills, but has a nice relaxed vibe and the staff were great. We travelled with our 18month old son and the hotel is a perfect size for the usage of the baby monitor whilst he napped and we relaxed by the pool and the staff were really lovely with him. There is only one chef who is excellent but you do have to wait for the food to be cooked so definitely try not to order when you are starving or you will wait an hour or so for food like we did! (not a complaint, just fact!) Rooms cleaned well daily, and the breakfast is nice and simple. The local beach is small and stoney but within easy reach.

    Excellent!

This is a small (15 room) hotel in a beautiful setting - 100 yards from the sandy beaches, and set amongst olive and lime trees. It used to be a diving academy, and has been converted wonderfully well. The staff are lovely - welcoming, friendly and very relaxed. The rooms are not huge, but they are chique, comfortable and well equipped. The pool is a delight - the sun terrace surrounding the pool is an all day sun trap and the pool provides welcome relief when it all gets too hot. The breakfast is very typically continental, although if you want an omelette, they are delicious! There is a restaurant which provides absolutely amazing dinners - the chef sources fresh local ingredients daily and varies the small but diverse menu accordingly. It is a bit of a walk to Antibes or Juan les Pins, but the taxis are plentiful and good value. I came to Cap dAntibes 30 years ago as an impoverished student and vowed to return when I could afford it - Villa Fabulite was the perfect place to come back to, relax and chill.
