  Luxurious tranquillity

  Beautifully decorated,spacious room with everything a discerning traveller could want, including very comfy furniture! Everything super clean and in excellent condition. Great attention to detail. Gorgeous gardens, lovely secluded pool. The food is delicious. Ideal for a romantic break or just a relaxing, peaceful getaway. Can highly recommend and hope to go back soon!

  Outstanding stay, especially the restaurant

  After many years of racing by this area on way to Hermanus or Garden Route, we decided to stay and explore area. Worried by so few restaurants for evening meals but we had four OUTSTANDING meals. Lovely location and property. Waiters Eric and Daniel good company and our visits to local wineries during days equal to any in Hemel en Arde, Franschhoek or stellenbosch, smaller but often met winemaker or owner so more personal. Thanks for a great time, now when can we return...?

  Hoteliers that take pride in their work

  Villa Exner is my go to everytime I am wine country with guests visiting from abroad. I love this place because the owners take so much pride in their work, which means the level of customer service is best in class. Their rooms ooze character and are maintained to a very high standard. Food is the best! I love their breakfast and hope their resturant opens again soon. Truly a hidden a gem!

  Tranquil and comfy home away from home

  From the moment we arrived, we were looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings are peaceful, the rooms are clean with all the amenities you need. super comfy bed, lovely clean linen, large lovely bathroom with a massive bath and separate shower. The whole place is so inviting and comfortable. As for the breakfast....just wow! Delivered to your door at the agreed time, garnished with berries and fruits from the garden....best omelet ever!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. You made my birthday weekend unforgettable.

  Good for the soul

  We had the most excellent 3 night stay at Villa Exner - I only wish it had been longer! Our room was clean and beautiful furnished, the bed extra comfortable and the bathroom an absolute luxury. Breakfast was a special treat and we felt spoilt having it bought to our room each morning. Our host were so welcoming and friendly and the Rhubarb tart was delicious ! Looking forward to coming back again hopefully this winter.
