  A fabulous hotel with a person touch!

  We had a fantastic suit on the first floor, clean large and spacious rooms, large balcony. They have a large pool and a small pool for kids, a great bar open all day until late at night, but the music was not too loud etc. and did not disturb even when going to sleep. Above all, the sea views especially at sunset are amazingly beautiful. A special bonus for us was the Beis Chabad with a kosher restaurant just next door. The staff are very friendly at the front desk and at the poolside. Unlike most hotels I have visited over the years the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was not buffet style. We had fruit and vegetables for breakfast daily. The presentation and service was really nice (but portions could be bigger). We booked via a popular website and according to the information should have had a double bed in one room, twin beds in another and 2 single bed sofas in the lounge room. In reality they have double beds in both rooms and for personal reasons we wanted specifically 2 beds in one room. The hotel staff did their best and brought in one of the single beds from the lounge to make up for it. One of our party is in a wheelchair and there were 3 steps in the corridor to our room. Not only did the staff happily assist to get the wheelchair up and down, buy after a day or 2 we found that they had installed a wooden ramp to make it easier to get up and down. That is what I call real attention to service the guest's needs!

  Pool bar

  Music that is played around the pool is SHIIIIIT. Ruins the whole vibe. Other than that, its location is great and reasonably friendly staff. Its great to be able to choose the pools or the beach, whichever you prefer, and you dont have to rush there in the morning to get the sun beds.

  Amazing service (George) and amazing food

  We visited Villa di Mare 3 times during our 2 week stay. The food and service were first class. We are dorado fish served at the table with a delicious warm olive oil and lemon dressing and freshly cooked vegetables and crispy potatoes. The chardonnay recommended by our waiter was exceptional and paired perfectly with the fish. Our waiter George was fantastic, a true professional and made us feel incredibly welcome. I would highly recommend this place for a wonderful meal experience.

  A gem amongst the pebble shore

  We used the hotels facilities as day guests for 7 weeks. Superb complex, Pool/Beach bar by day, Friday through to Sunday a live DJ, food, drinks and cocktails with first rate service. Our special thanks to Zoe, Gabrielle and Jordan who cared for our every need. A final mention for Panos the DJ, fabulous mix of music. We'll be back.

  A Needed Break!

  6 months of non stop work and the mind and body is screaming ''you need a break''. One week up the road at the Avra Beach and 8 days at the Villa. Just what the ''doctor''ordered. We arrived early having just moved down the road so had to wait for our room but that was no problem. Made us of the pool and just chilled! Our room was a ground floor suite with double bed and a very comfy sofa bed! A small kitchen area with fridge, kettle and toaster meant we could make our own breakfast! 2 good supermarkets across the road that sell most things that you need. The Villa does serve food but we never ate there!{Nothing personal}. It also supplies you with crockery, cutlery but no egg cups!!Tip. Use the caps off you shaving foam. Make good egg cups!!!! The room is cleaned every day along with clean sheets, towels, beach towels and the girls even washed our dirty plates! Bless them!! Where the Villa comes into it's own is the way that things are done around the bar and the pool. You feel relaxed by the way the staff go about their work in a sort of ''laid back''feeling and yet they are really on top of everything. Johanna.the manager,makes sure of that. All the staff were brilliant,especially George and Neena at the bar. Watching those 2 making cocktails was a pleasure to watch. The highlight of the day was watching the sun go down drinking ice cold beer after a hard days graft working on our tans!! I would also like to point out that I really felt safe due to the virus staying here and that our safety was a ''plus''in the minds of the staff. Would I come back?.... Oh YEAH!
