  UNA EXCELENTE OPCION

  Tuve la gran suerte de compartir tres meses en VILLA MAMA donde JImi y su marido me brindaron un trato excelente en un marco precioso como son las instalaciones del recinto.Una opción mas que recomendable en todos los aspectos para disfrutar de la bonita isla de PHUKET.

  Que decir de este lugar Jimi y su marido me ofrecieron tanta hospitalidad que hoy son muy buenos amigos míos y de mi mujer,la cual conocí en thailandia y con la que voy a tener una hija(made in Villa de mama) Esta situado junto a los mejores gimnasios de phuket.Los bungalows son grandes y limpios y la hospitalidad no tiene contraste alguno. Sin duda es una muy buena idea hospedarse aquí tanto si quieres mantenerte en forma como sí quieres practicar algún deporte de contacto...como diría David G. una muy buena opción. ASi que sí no queréis equivocaros con la estancia o sentiros engañados este es el lugar perfecto!

  A little rugged around the edges..

  This hotel may appear almost abandoned when you first come across it: no signs, overgrown trees, along with a pool with peeling paintwork. But once you enter your room it's a different story, the rooms are well kept and clean with lovely big windows to let in plenty natural light. The overgrown trees add to the charm and privacy of the place and the pool is regularly cleaned and great for a swim after a class at one of the nearby martial arts centres. We stayed at villa de mama for a week (while attending classes at tiger Muay Thai) and absolutely loved it. There's a great atmosphere and the hotel is just a few minutes walk off the main street but still remains quiet on an evening. Cleaners provide new towels every day and the pool was cleaned while we were there as well.

  Very Run Down !

  I was planning on staying here for a month, but when I got to the hotel it was very run down, nothing has been kept nice. The jacuzzi pools are now ponds with Lilly pads in them. The bed was just a box spring, no mattress. The pool also looks like it hasnt been cleaned in weeks. The pictures on the website are most likely from when the hotel opened because it looks nothing like the pictures !

  very nice, serene place and people at competitive price....with improvements to be made

  Jean the owner is a very nice woman who is always smiling and trying her best to help. She runs the business with her husband. The place is quiet and serene with a jungle feel, yet it's very central and near soi tai ied...or fitness soi. I would suggest they improve the curtain system that lets light in at sunrise, and that they put better softer mattresses whenever they can afford to because it was hard to sleep well(for me). Bathroom was very spacious and nice and room was spacious and well accommodated. The pool is marvelous amidst the jungle view. Only set back, the pump broke so they cleaned it daily with clore, it was the same water day after day for a week, it became thick,greasy and heavy...just get a quality machine or fix it quick. I would stay here again if they can fix my sleeping with a better bed and full thick curtains.
