  A unique Grecian experience

  Villa Danai has a unique ambiance created by the artistic decoration of Danai's father. Each room is a variation on a theme about boats, travel, dreams. The gardens with its palm trees, bourganvillia flowers, hibiscus creates a small oasis to enjoy after your day at probably one of the best beaches in Greece. The rooms are spotless, breakfast is beautifully presented in your room each morning. The family owners are caring and warm and obviously take a great pride in making sure your stay is memorable. The visitors book is a testimony to how guests return year after year. Book early to avoid disappointment.

  Good choice for Agia Anna area!

  One week stay at a the bit isolated studios - no noise around :) with very friendly owners - ready to serve you! cute breakfast - served only to the room, affordable prices but not the cheapest option. Parking available. Agia Anna area has one of the best beaches in Naxos !

  Lovely place!

  I would recomend this place for everyone who would like to visit Naxsos Island. Great greek breakfast and beautiful seaview from the room every morning. Really romantic place! The Best for all who want to rest from city noise. Thank you Danai for such a great week! :) Kisses

  a nice "farm"

  My partner and me have been in this studio for 9 nights and Danai, the owner, was very nice; she gave us some greek sweets as welcome and all the information we needed about market and beaches. The room was very clean and comfortable and Danai came everyday to clean and change the towels and sheets. There is a market just few minutes walking in the main road and Agia Anna's beach is really close. Only one thing i didn't like: there are farm animals all around the properties like chickens, cows and goats and they woke us up every morning around 5 am which it was quite irritating.

  Ok, but nothing to write home about

  Villa Danai is a small resistance run by a sweet couple. The place is clean and the couple tries hard for getting good scores. New towels and sheets every second day. Our room had a small but cozy terrace. But its time for some refurbishment. You cant have the air conditioning going while away from the room, not even when you sit on the terrace. This means that if you get home late - it takes until about 4 or 5 in the morning before it is cool again after a really hot day. They claim you have a kitchen. And yes, there is a fridge and two plates to cook. But the intention is more making a coffee or maybe a very basic meal. No cutting board or proper knife to make a salad. No wine glasses. No frying pan. From time to time very slow WiFi. Basic breakfast. You need to walk/drive a dirt road for 200 meters to get there. The upside is that you get away from the noise in Agia Anna.. and replace it with the neighbors roosters.. ;-) 5 min walk to the bus and another 1-2 min to the beach. 15-20 min to Plaka pending how far south you walk.. 20 min + to Petrino restaurant
