Anywhere betterNo chairs, no table, cann't close the window, poor climatisation, no parking place, luggage must carry on steep road, not very clean bathroom, rooms without see view, but nice stuff and enough place on the beach. It is an old house with poor facilitates, needs reconstruction, until this the prices must go down.

Peace at the end of the roadWe booked a one night stay here as our normal resting place in Trogir Old Town was booked up - middle of the holiday season. What we had not reckoned on was the horrendous traffic, as it took us a good hour to drive out to Okrug Donji, and the same back the following morning, almost quicker to walk! Once arrived though, the setting is magnificent with a beautiful view across the bay to the main coast line, and the hospitality excellent. Peaceful and relaxing. Our room was actually a small apartment with a sitting room and we could have used the east-facing terrace to sit out on Dinner cooked by the proprietress - fresh fish - was a delight, washed down by both their house rakija and their wine. Excellent omlette the following morning for breakfast. While air-conditioning in the room was present in a fairly rudimentary form, we preferred to have windows open to allow the constant wind to blow through the apartment. The descent from the road to the parking at the villa does require strong nerves and dependable brakes, as it is steep; also the many steps make access very difficult for those with mobility challenges . If we had been able to stay longer we would have taken full advantage of the private jetty to swim off - the water looked lovely.

good value, excellent viewIts not modernised in the last 10-15 years or so, but if you are ok with clean room and bed, standard bathroom with shower, then its very good value. Excellent ocean views from most rooms but also dining terrass. Its facing north west and sunset is lovely. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Top floor share a large balcony facing north and east. Best views i guess would be second floor one of the rooms with NW facing balcony. Estate is quite elevated as every other house in the area. Not suitable for wheel chair or older people with disabilities. Private concrete jetty for swimming and sunbathing. Public beach just 150m down the road and the only minimarket on this side of the island just 100 up the road.

Adriatic Beach ExperienceVilla Corona is a family run business, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Adriatic Ocean and mainland Croatia. It's situated right on the water, so you can dive straight in, and the place is only a short drive from shopping, restaurants and historical monuments in the nearby town of Trogir. You can expect a warm welcome from the owners, Zeljka and Marian and their family who work tirelessly to keep their guests happy and comfortable. You can sit out on their promenade and enjoy a lovely breakfast, lunch or dinner cooked here as well by Zeljka! There's a supermarket across the road and the local beach is just a short stroll away.

Poor rooms, but service is good and the view is greatThe rooms are of poor standard. No bathroom in the room. The bathroom was of poor quality. We got 2 separate rooms (not connected) even though we booked a room for 4 persons. I would not stay here again.
