  Nothing special, I was happy to stay there only one night

  Well, this place disappointed me quite a lot. First of all the style of the rooms wasnt really attractive, I didnt feel comfortable there. I used only for one evening, to rest between my trip, so didnt have any more experience with it. If youre looking for a place only to sleep, its ok, if you demand some other conveniences, you might get disappointed. I wanted to use the WLAN for a while to check something on the internet. As it didnt work, I went to the reception, where they told me, that it should work. After some time they said, that there is a problem with the connection but they will fix it. Well, in that time nothing was fixed. I used the internet in the reception, because I needed it, but in those times it should be normal for a hotel to have a good internet connection. The parking slot surprised me positively, as it is underground and closed so its safe to park there. In my opinion 3/5 is a fair grade, for some time I was thinking about a 2, but let it be. If you only would like to sleep, its ok, not more.

  Beautiful place, the most beautiful hosts!

  A few of us stayed here for 4-7 days and we enjoyed in domestic relaxing atmosphere, beautiful interior, but the best part of our staying in Villa Arte are people that work here. I just love them, and I am sure to be here again <3. So, perfect vacation supported by this warm people made our trip complete... Thank you :)

  Facility ok

  My friend and I booked two nights at Villa Arte months in advance and stayed one due to an issue with management. I will review the facility and then share our issue with management for our fellow travelers awareness. The room was clean and staff were very friendly, kindly helping us to learn a Macedonian phrase or two. Two downsides for me were the shower water was, at best, not cold and the wifi signal was intermittent to poor. As for our issue with management, we were told upon arrival we would be getting an upgrade for one night (the room looked like the one we booked online so not sure where the upgrade was) and then needed to move to a separate property owned by management, specifically Bakal Apartments, due to what I thought were shifting reasons. We would also receive a US$20 credit. We looked up the other property before accepting this and went by it. The value of the room there plus the credit did not match what we reserved and prepaid for at Villa Arte. Further, this is a very different property, one that we would never book. We advised staff that we would stay one night and then would like to check out the next day, receiving a full refund for the second night. This was accepted and we did promptly receive a full refund the next day upon check out - closing on a positive, which was nice as this was the beginning of 10 days of travel for us through the Balkans.

  Room acceptable, communication terrible.

  My friend and I paid for two nights in advance through AirBnB. When we arrived we were told that there was a problem with the room, that we were being upgraded to a better room for no charge, but that we could only stay in that room for one night because the hotel was full. We were offered a room in another building and 20 euros. We looked up the other room and it seemed to be a major downgrade. Fortunately the owner/ manager agreed to give us a full refund for the second night. The woman at the front desk was really sweet and it was pretty terrible of the owner to make her do his dirty work. The room was ok, clean and sizable, but VERY noisy in the halls and the water was lukewarm. It ended up being a good thing because we found a room for the second night in the old part of town which was much more charming and scenic.

  We enjoyed our 2 nights stay in this villa. Knowledgeable and helpful receptionists, delicious breakfast prepared by lovely lady every morning! We received even better room than we booked because it was empty! Very clean and close To the lake - thank you!
