Great experience!First, I would like to thank Cinzia and Michele for their hospitality and kind attention. They met all our needs and it was a real pleasure to communicate with them during our stay at villa Carenza. It was wonderful holidays in the house built in 19th century with old pictures on the walls, 3 meter windows, and painted 6m ceilings. In addition, there are some minuses coming from this respectable age. We did not suffer from them but to anybody there could be important. 1.There is only one air-condition in the hall of the second floor where three bedrooms are located. If it is hot inside, you have to close all windows and open all doors to let cool air enter bedrooms and keep them opened during all day and night. Therefore, you have live and sleep with open doors. If you open widows, some doors claps very loudly because their locks are broken. As Michele explained, it is impossible to do anything with that (no possibility to assemble aircons in each room, no possibility to fix locks because they are old, and those models cannot be bought). 2.There is no air-condition on the first floor where the forth bedroom is. It was stuffy there if temperature outside was above 32. 3.Pool and garden are shared with other inhabitants. There are several premises on villa territory with overall capacity of 21 persons (9 of them in the main house). In spite of the fact that pool is big once there a bit narrow there during day peak time. 4.Many mosquitos. Take repellents with you. As I have said, we loved to stay there despite all minuses. It was great to live in such beautiful historical house with sufficient level of comfort.

Perfetto, favoloso!Spacious apartments with every modern convenience, grounds which stretch as far as the eye can see, peace and quiet yet within the reach of all the major places in Puglia. A most inviting and spacious pool area. Attentive yet unobtrusive staff, not forgetting the lovely dog, Ron.

DisappointedThis morning we were sent a message by the owners. We were to pay £921 extra or they would cancel our booking!! They had accepted our booking over a week ago and we had received confirmation and booked our flights. Who puts their price up and charges people who already have a booking? Held to ransom, they cancelled and now we have to look for somewhere that corresponds to our flights (Sunday-Wednesday 10 days) not easy and time consuming. I would not recommend trusting these people. The price we had agreed to pay was was £1747.88, I would not be prepared to pay £3,210 that they are now asking for.

Pure bliss!Oh what a place! I have spent a week at Villa Carenza this August. The place is magical and you feel the vibe when entering the main gate. A long drive way leads to the main building. It's a magnificent villa. We were not staying there. We had a three bedroom outbuilding with two bathrooms. It is unimportant mentioning the indoor areas considering that the whole property is available to roam around. Trees of all kind and many alcoves in the beautifully landscaped area are ideal for those that want to stroll around without having to leave the premises. A massive swimming pool, a friendly dog, Ron and three great hosts. Michele, Cinzia and the little Chiara make you feel part of the family withy their constant attentions. The whole bunch of guests feel connected as spaces are unlimited to everyone and it is pretty impossible not to be caught in the community feeling that develops over here. Morning croissant and loads of tips, recommendations and attentions make you feel highly valued. The location is excellent to escape the heat and the crowd but distances from the nearby towns and beaches make this place an ideal retreat. There are no drawbacks for nature lovers. I highly recommend this for all type of guests. Thanks for the great time!

Refined oasis in the hills above MonopoliWe stayed the second week in August and had such a good time that we came back for the last few days of the month. Olive groves surround the villa and apartments with views to the sea. The 25m pool was a welcome relief from the crowded summer beaches, and the hosts Michele and Cinzia are delightful. Everything is beautifully clean and well organised. Plenty of restaurants close by. Highly recommended
