    Perfect for our stopover in Split

    After a delayed flight (and so a missed ferry to our booked accommodation) we stayed here at short notice for 1 night. As a family of 4 we had 2 of the rooms. We arrived 2am and were relieved to get prompt service from the very helpful owner who lives adjacent to the rooms. Both rooms were nice and clean, with comfortable beds, good air con and decent showers - we all slept well. Looked to be a 20 min walk to ferry but owner helpfully offered to drop us in his car which helped us.

    Good location, otherwise ordinary

    We were in the villa for three nights and room was modern, clean and nicely decored. We didn't get the cleaninglady in the room all this time though. We could hear the noises from the street and upstears pretty well but at night it was guite silent. Warm water runs out pretty fast so no no for long showers. Good location, only 2km from the center if you want to walk or bus 18 leaving near. Check-in took some time but worked eventually. We got a map and some advises from the owner so that was nice. Good and cheap choise for few nights in Split.

    Apartments with location close to university and old town

    Nice and clan apartments, newly renovated. Air conditioning and fridge, nice bathrooms. Reception and small bar. Recommended for 2-3 days. Friendly staff/family and a very good breakfast. Good price. Better than average

    4 days in Split

    The hotel is very good- clean- very good breakfast and good location- we booked 4 rooms and all was happy staying here. easy to get a uber too- only 15 min walking to old town and the staff was also very friendly- we recomand this for staying in Split

    The worst experience in our travels

    The owners were very rude. I was going to give a good review, even though we had some problems at first (breakfast was very poor, the toilet seat would not stay in position, inside the shower was the water heater, there was no one at the reception desk, only early in the morning and many many more). The worst thing happened as we were leaving. We weren't told that we had to pay in cash and we didn't have any. For 1 hour and a half my husband wondered around looking for an ATM machine to get cash. I told them to charge my credit card through the website and the refused and the lady told me (with the few English words that she knew) that it was my problem, not hers. They even refused that if we canceled the reservation, they would charge my credit card, even after I showed them the website that said it clearly. They simply didn't want to help us at all. They just sat there, staring at us, waiting for us to come up with a solution. Eventually we did, but we should we? It was the day that we were leaving Croatia, we had a very long day ahead of us, why should we exhaust ourselves over someone who does not care about their customers? I repeat, my husband was wondering around for 1 and a half hour guys. They could have told us earlier but they didn't. They responded to my comment that they threatened us to call the police because we didn't want to pay. That's a big fat lie. I was talking to the owner's son because she doesn't speak English. I don't know if he never translated that, but we were never threatened, simply because we wanted to pay. Even if we left without paying, they could charge my credit card. We wanted to pay, but they should have told us that we had to pay in cash at least a day earlier. But how would they do that, since NOBODY was working? NOBODY was at the reception. Way too expensive accommodation for what they are offering and very rude owners.
