Good location, poor breakfast and dinnerCame back from a 10 days holiday in villa Ana, Paguera. Found Paguera to be very nice, full of cocktail bars and restaurants. Villa Ana was not bad, considering that we had a superior room with pool view. Clean and comfortable beds and nice and quiet pool area. When it comes to food ....can't say the same thing. Breakfast and dinner are both served in Morlans restaurant across the street. Both very poor. They need a real chef in there as they only have a lady that i hate to say it but she can't cook as the food had no taste, was covered in oil or cheese i could barely find something to eat, then after 3 days we gave up just went somewhere else. the desserts are the same every evening: rice pudding, jelly and jelly cake...there is a small stand of fruits but the bananas and the grapes were rotten. Breakfast poor. The plates were all chipped (when i say all i mean all) and the tablecloths were not changed after each meal. The staff appeared to be nice but what they basically do is they are rushing people out. saw a couple coming in 5 min late for dinner and they wouldn t let them eat. The restaurant reminded me of 1990's when i used to go on the seaside with the school group :) The reception service very good. The girls speak english, german and spanish and they give you all the information you need. The wifi is a ripoff, they are charging 5 euro a day. Luckily, Paguera is packed with nice restaurants and cocktail bars. From A to Z cocktail bar is the nicest for enjoying a cocktail. the owner is very passionate about his work and the cocktails are v nice. the bar is on the Boulevard. Amrita Gardens is very nice and it is only across the street from villa ana.
