Holidays - August 2017Room Clean and Breakfast good and hot drinks very well prepared directly at bar. Staff very kind and always available for our needs. Hotel is approximately in the center of Rodi G. And it is easy to reach restaurants and local shops. A very nice stay.

Three Nights StayWe were on a 16 day holiday to Italy with Leger Holidays and stayed for three nights at this Hotel, from where the coach parked you had quite a few steps to negotiate upto the Hotel, i was told by walking into the garage adjacent to the Hotel you could get the lift up to the Hotel. We had a very nice welcome from staff on the reception when getting our room keys, lift to all floors or use the stairs, my room was on the second floor, the room was clean, basic with a door that opened onto a small balcony, the hotel was set along a busy road in Rodi Garganico this was a typical Italian town, you see the locals coming out late afternoon and sitting around, everything closed down at around 2pm, we had a free day and explored the area, This area grows oranges and lemons and has several beaches, we found a few shops and a supermarket, cafes, i didn't find everyone very friendly some fruit sellers came across very abrupt and rude. The evening meals and breakfasts at the Hotel was very good, we choose our meals and had plenty of food and water on the table with our meals, and the staff very helpful they couldn't do enough for you, enjoyed my stay.

Clean, pleasant and very reasonably pricedWe stayed here for two nights in early May. It was a great place to stay. It had all of the amenities you look for in a hotel; clean, comfy bed, modern bathroom, centrally located, pleasant staff, off street parking, an outdoor dining area with a pool, breakfast included and all for a very reasonable price (there was even a cat)!. What more could you ask for? I thoroughly recommend it..

Very noisy locationThe hotel itself is fine, its just the location thats the problem. Its on a very busy road, with traffic coming and going at all hours. As its on an s bend, lorries often toot their horns to warn others of their presence. Its not a great location if you want a good nights sleep. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and the food we had for our evening meals is lovely. Its right by the shops - theres a pharmacy directly opposite - and near bars and restaurants. Its only a short walk down to the beach, however, the two ways you have of getting to the beach arent exactly ideal. You can either risk your life walking along the pavementless s bend, or you can risk your life walking down unsafe, uneven steps that are slippery when wet and have no hand rail to hold on to for the most part. Once you get down to the beach, its a steep climb uphill to get back up. The hotel room was fine, not counting the noise. The bed was comfy, although a nice thick duvet would have been nice. The audio settings could easily be changed on the telly so you could listen to programmes in their original language (I very much enjoyed watching Bewitched in bed one night in English). The bathroom was very nice - the tiles were absolutely gorgeous! They had plenty of towels and toilet paper, and there were items to wash your hair and body, however, no facecloth was provided, so youll need to take your own. If it wasnt for the location, Id stay here again, but I appreciate a peaceful nights sleep, which you dont get at this hotel unfortunately.
