  Old, Small yet Beautiful

  Villa Alzhun may not be located in the heart of the City, but it is still strategically located. Alzhun offers a great sunset view to its in house guests and diners. The pool is big. The function room is well maintained and lighted and most importantly no middle obstruction. Their food is really great! My favorite is their lumpia and Sinigang. I recommend the place to budget travellers, to foodie, heritage lovers and those who love staring at the sunrise and sunset. The place is also good for small training. The staff are very kind and accommodating. Kudos to all staff, especially to Miss Noemi Bomdiano!

  quiet & peaceful but very basic

  I stayed in Alzhun for about 5 days in May 2016. The place is peaceful and quiet. I loved sitting by the pool having my breakfast while looking at the sea. This is my highlight of my stay. Otherwise, it can be noisy as the place holds weddings. One morning I couldn't take my time enjoying the peace as the staff were busy preparing for a 9am wedding. And also nothing spectacular about breakfast, it was always rice & egg and 1 other little thing. Not much choices. If you were a western person wanting to have cereals & milk, just forget about it. Be prepared to eat rice every morning. I tried not to mind being a Filipino but having lived in the UK for over 10yrs, sometimes you miss other food. Room is also basic and a little run down. Water pressure is weak so shower didn't work. Bucket shower did fine with me. Internet connection was ok. This place would have been fantastic if well maintained. I never tried to order food here...I always ate out so not really sure what to make of their food. You have to look for staff as they're not always visible. And also swimming pool looked good but didn't seem clean enough so never swam there. Otherwise, staying here is good value for the money and should be ok if you're not fussy.

  Peaceful and satisfied stay here

  The location was great that it wasn't an issue for our Tour Guide, Kuya Nilo to locate our hotel. He knows very well, Villa Alzhun Tourist Inn. It was located in the city proper where famous Restaurant e.g. Seafood Restaurant etc are located nearby. The room was quite huge for two persons with private restroom, a television and Aircon. They have a friendly staffs and a very accommodating owner. We were so lucky that our room was located at the second floor and we were only the guest for two nights and three days. Oh yeah!!! For a reasonable stay and tight budget for couples like us, you might one to consider this place

  Great seafood

  We visited this place during our trip to Tarsier conservation place. We had lunch in this place. Even we were the only guests seafood was really really great. We had fish fillet and crabs. Portions were also big. Service was great. View to the sea was amazing :)

  Old place

  The place has never changed since the first time we visited, yesterday we came back and eat supper. We ordered Chicken Curry and Lumpia Shanghai and it was good but the problem was they served old rice almost raw and hard. Hehe
