  Yuck

  My husband and I stayed here for 1 night while we were stuck in Tirana due to an air strike in Greece. My husband's cousin recommended this hotel. I'm very particular about hotels so I should have listened to my intuition and not stayed here, but we were desperate. This hotel is located in the park which means that 1) there are a TON of mosquitoes/bugs 2) they have a golf cart that can transport you to and from the hotel, but it's not big and can't accommodate people and belongings 3) at night, there is no golf cart so you have to walk and there are NO lights in the park - completely pitch black. I would not have felt safe walking it by myself. As for the hotel itself, it was dirty, dirty, dirty. I cried upon entering the room and wouldn't sit for the 1st hour. There were spiders in the room, dust and dirt (again, I think this was due to the fact that the hotel is located in the woods). This hotel was expensive for the level of quality. In addition to the dirty hotel room, we were unable to call the US from the room which I found odd and they told us upon checkout that we couldn't use a credit card which we were told we could. I wouldn't recommend this property nor would I stay here ever again.

  Excellent hotel

  Beautiful hotel, located in the best part of the city, in a middle of the national park. Very friendly environment. Spacious rooms. I enjoyed staying there, and I will go back again!!

  Hotel in a park

  Small hotel in a park. The staff picks you with a golf cart from the parking. The park is very busy. Very cenrral locqtion in tirana. You can visit the centre by walk from there. Hotels rooms have a small balcony. Large and modern fitness room included in the Price. Bathrooms are pretty small. The bed is very large. The phonic isolation is good. The breakfast was poor. The staff was very friendly. Good value for the price.

  This Resort is one of the best resort in Tirana. It is a relaxing place with a lot of commodities.

  I am sure that people who goes there can find themselfs like home. I used the hotel of the resort and I also eat in Merlin Park. The room is big and very comfortable. It has a great view and very relaxing one. I liked all thing that includes Merlin Park Resort

  Not worth of anything!

  I had visited the hotel a couple of years ago. The staff was nice but the owner was absolutely rude and disrespectful. When we got the room we asked the receptionist if we could have a late checkout (an afternoon checkout) and since the hotel was empty that time of the year, she reassured us that we could leave whenever we wanted. When the departure day arrived instead of having to check out at 12, we went to deliver the keys at 16.00. And that is when it all started. The owner, even away on a trip, demanded that we pay for an extra day (via phone). Even though we explained that we had been told that we could leave whenever we wanted, he was so rude and frustrated that I could feel his anger from the phone. In the end of the conversation he told us to go back to our country and cursed us. The hotel was overpriced for what it could provide, and the owner so rude! I highly recommend to not go!
