  A very good choice, if you are planing a stay in Chisinau

  We have visited the capital last spring and needed a comfortable, quiet place to stay, preferably close to the airport, as our arrival was late after midnight. Vila Iris was the ideal choice meeting all our criteria: friendly staff with good English was trying to help with recommendations, the breakfast was nice, everything we needed was provided to us in the room (even some electrical devices on request, very early breakfast on the departure day etc.), good internet connection. Overall it was a pleasant stay, very close to airport and also not that far from main attractions of the city.

  Good for a short stay

  A small hotel at the entrance to the city (also literally- it's just next to the "Portile Orasului") but well connected to the city center with public transportation. The rooms are just fine, clean and cosy, the service is also good. Nothing fancy, but good enough for a short stay. The "restaurant" where the breakfast is served is very small, which can be a problem sometimes, I guess.

  Very nice,Affordable and Clean hotel

  Love,love this little gem,close to airport, with continental breakfast included,free wi-fi,and the friendliest stuff ever!This hotel have only couple rooms,but for a young family with a little kid,that was more then perfect,it's definitely worth the money we pay!

  Awful!!

  Last Summer, I already stayed at Vila Iris, in room #6, August 30 - September 6, 2017. And even though they were drilling their ROOFfor the whole week, the young Receptionists were very pleasant and helpful; I still remember their names: Kristina, Marianna and Victoria. This Summer, September 2018, I booked Vila Iris again, also for a week. But...it was So Awful there, that I moved out the very next morning, and spent my vacation at my friend's house. Upon my arrival, they couldn't find my reservation - the new Receptionist, Zhanna, with her male-Boss. Entire hotel was filthy, with a sick layer of dust and trash along their baseboards... My room #6 (same as last year) was also covered in dust, without single rug on the floor... Small fridge was absolutely, totally empty, while I was rather thirsty... Next morning, there was NO WATER at Vila Iris - their Manager turned it Off, they said...I was waiting for a few hours (after 18-hour flight from Sacramento, USA to Kishinev, Moldova) to take a shower, as well as for the iron - which wasn't meant to be. That new Receptionist at Vila Iris, Zhanna, is off-the-chart RUDE, even by the standards of Moldova! For example, when I asked her to turn-On TV in their breakfast room, Zhanna....refused. "Our guests don't like any noise", she told me. By 11am very next morning, when I packed my suitcases, again, to move out, I noticed the same trash along their hallways that was there night before, when I checked-in... , , ! -, Vila Iris - , , . ! , , ! ; : , . . Vila Iris 2018. ! ! ( ?)

  Excellent location, good internet, helpful staff

  Was overnight but could easily have started longer in this hotel. Only concern is if you have heavy bags there is no elevator and even to enter the hotel there are stairs. Room had good work surface and comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was plentiful. TV had tons of channels. Was within easy walking distance of many restaurants, grocery stores and markets.
