  This hotel was excellent value for money. The room rate was competitive and the room itself was incredibly spacious with a large, private balcony and superb views.

  peaceful swiss chalet

  This quaint small, family run hotel had wonderful spacious rooms with spectacular views. The food was very good and the location was convenient to the shopping and attractions. Adelboden is such a beautiful and peaceful stop in a trip that included busy, crowded cities like London and Paris. There is a spa to work out any stress and relax.

  Spacious, cozy and clean

  I stayed in a 2 bed room facing the mountains. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There was a restaurant downstairs with excellent food, wifi and it had a spectacular view! The only thing I did not like was the keys to the room. I just could not figure out how to use them. A perfect hotel for anyone, especially groups of friends or families. I believe it is family run so it just has that extra charm! Recommended for everyone and I would defiantly go back!

  Great value for money

  The Viktoria Eden is great value at CHF 80 per person for a room the "non-scenic" side of the hotel during the summer season. As noted elsewhere, the hotel has clean and spacious rooms with a decent sized balconies, ample breakfast with the usual (fresh bread, variety of Swiss cheeses and cereals, eggs, etc) and a complementary pass for the cable cars and buses in the Adelboden area. Parking under the hotel also reasonable at CHF 8 per night for parking in the middle of the village. The hotel's main disadvantage is related to the location. Sitting on the town's main street, there is regular vehicular traffic past the hotel during the day and the occasional drunken reveler at night. Of course, traffic is limited through Adelboden as the village is at the end of the valley.

  Perfect Simple Hotel, Great Value

  I've stayed here 4 times in winter. The rooms are large, comfortable without being fussy. The heated garage is great value. It is a quiet, friendly hotel where you can be sure of not being disturbed. The location is perfect and it is a comforable warm up walk to the town internal gondola down to the main gondola station. The local ski lift to Tschentenalp is even closer. The shops are around the hotel. For Switzerland it is value for money. Breakfast is extensive without being too much and hot food is available to order. The breakfast coffee is very good. Service is sound. The views over the town and to the mountains are fabulous, especially at sunset. This is a quiet, unpretentious and comfortable hotel. If you want a busy social life, please go somewhere else and leave the rest of us to enjoy the quiet, efficient life here.
