    Quiet location

    A very nice clean hotel,but extremely quiet.A good stroll down into the town but unless you are extremely fit the walk back is a killer and I would imagine almost impossible in the height of the summer,as the hill is very steep I strongly recommend hiring a car. Overall ,if you want peace and quiet you will certainly get it here.

    We had a great experience.the perfect place for someone who wants to relax and enjoy the magnificent view so close to skiathos center.the breakfast had a great variety of food and the staff was so helpful to any information we need.

    What more do you want from life? :)

    We stayed at this lovely hotel between July and August 2018 for only 3 days. having known it was so beautiful we would have modulated our vacation differently! The best part is definitely the swimming pool with its beautiful deckchairs, matching towels, and the bar with a delicious Nescafé Frappé (), one of the best ever drunk! the breakfasts then were really varied and delicious with a nice mix of sweet and savory things. The room was really clean. Very attentive and courteous staff.

    Totally different to what was expected

    I am well travelled and seldom do I leave negative reviews and always try to see the good in everything but I was very disappointed with my stay here :( Upon arrival we felt the photographs we''d seen did not represent the hotel accurately. The impression we got was that it was more towards high end, hence why we booked it, but there was nothing in the hotel to reflect this. Our thoughts were echoed by a few guests staying at the same time. Images make you believe you are a short distance from the town, it fails to show the vast countryside in-between the hotel and town. Although within walking distance or a 5 minute taxi ride, we felt secluded with nothing at all around us. A car/quad is a must to get around. It is located at the top of a very steep hill which our quad even struggled with so I wouldn't recommend walking back up it. The hotel has a car which can take you down and they seemed to encourage using that service rather than the islands taxis but we later found out we were being charged 10 euros for a 6 euro taxi ride. We had specifically asked for a room with a view and had been assured we had this, only to find we looked onto a childs play area. We asked to be moved but this could not be accommodated. Breakfast each morning was cold and empty plates not replenished. Food from the pool bar was frankly unappetising and drinks expensive, but we had no choice as we were too far from the restaurants to just go and grab a snack. The room was very dark but it was clean with a nice hot shower, clean linen everyday and a good powerful air-con system. However, the bathroom needed some maintenance as the seal was broken on the shower and mould in the corner of the shower tray and there was no key for the safety deposit box. It is a shame that I am leaving such a negative review but feel potential guests should have an honest view before booking. As with anything, I'd advise to read all reviews and make your own mind up. I wouldn't stay here again but I would certainly recommend their sister hotel, La Piscine Art which I visited. PS get the hotel to collect you from the airport on arrival to avoid queues! Its worth paying the extra. There are only 20 taxis on the island and this was chaotic!

    We have stayed here before four years ago.. from a positives point of view this place is great value for money, comfortable rooms which are very clean, great pool area and magnificent views. The biggest negatives for us this time around is, firstly the service, I feel during the day the service is sloppy from not cleaning towels and drinks away promptly around the pool area when people leave (albeit a towel bin for people to move their own would maybe help ?) But not cleaning tables after breakfast quickly and taking all the food and crumbs away off the table cloths, its not nice to sit down and see traces of other customers breakfast. Well he biggest complaint we have is the breakfast. Can I say firstly four years ago on our first visit the breakfast was excellent, with a toast machine , fresh hot coffee and you could order your eggs so they were fresh, and good selection. This time... what a difference.... coffee poor quality and cold, eggs were cold and awful every morning they were just left in the terrine to go cold and rubbery they look awful ... why cant the staff see this? No toaster? And variety poor. What a shame how things have changed from four years ago! Orange house poor quality and warm. I would recommend either include breakfast and do it well, or dont bother. Otherwise property is great and fantastic value for money and would stay here again... but dont bother having breakfast !
