  Un buen Hotel para una corta visita de 2 a 3 días de negocio. El bufete de desayuno es muy completo con muchas opciones. Las habitaciones son amplias para el estándar europeo. Es muy difícil encontrar lugar de estacionamiento, solo en una ocasión encontré lugar en aparcamiento del Hotel los otras dos noches tuve q buscar lugar en la calle o en un estacionamiento público

  Probably the best hotel in town

  This hotel is in an historic building in the middle of the very nice town of Eisenach. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and not as small as you would expect from an historic building. A very diverse and tasty breakfast is available.

  Very well located

  Our arrival and parking went smoothly. The receptionist was very welcoming and had handwritten a welcome greeting for us. The room as well as the bathroom were fine and spacious. The cleaning was below our expectation. I guess the room had been left unused for a while because of Covid-19, beccause the soap by the bath had been dripping for a while and had left a large lump of soap in the tub, and it was still there when we left the hotel after a week. It was possible to opt no cleaning, but even though we did not opt that, one day we came back to a room that had not been cleaned even though we had been away from before 10am until around 7pm. The breakfast was below expectation and the service hopeless. No one came on their own initiative and asked if we wanted coffee or anything else. If we managed to attract a waiter's attention and ask for coffee, we was usually given a jug from another table. The coffee therefore did not taste freshly brewed and in addition the handle on the jug should have been dried off before it was passed on to us. The buffet was (also due to Covid-19) replaced by serving cafeteria-like and the waiters had trouble serving what was requested. All in all, I had expected that both cleaning and service was better at a four star hotel.

  Beautiful location for Anniversary celebration....

  We chose this hotel & location for our 9th year anniversary. It was a wise choice. We spent a weekend (Sat thru Monday). We were able to book a Superior room (large). It faced the town. 5th-floor level. The room had a very large bathroom with a nice shower. The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner. We a dinner included in our package. It was a 4-course dinner. The breakfast was excellent. I loved the bacon totally! There are some nearby Italian restaurants which we chose to visit as well. There is a wine bar nearby named Barons. We also found a restaurant named Michelangelo (Italian restaurant). Both of these are very near & within walking distance. Friendly staff & great food. We had made a reservation. The reception hotel staff was outstanding. Thank you, Gabriela, Manuela & the rest of the staff. The restaurant staff was great too. Great service. The only negative comment is the hotel parking entrance. It's way too narrow! I joked to my wife that it was because, in the old days (DDR days), these cars were small Trabant's which could enter the parking area perfectly. They have an outside parking area and an underground parking spot that has an elevator to the hotel area. It's convenient if you're carrying lots of luggage. Exiting this underground garage was truly an adventure. Takes a very skillful driver to enter & exit. I couldn't help noticing all the scratches on the walls with faded paint from other cars that weren't lucky. I have a large Mercedes SUV & I was lucky. The SPA Sauna area was another negative. It only had four relaxing chairs. I would recommend that they remodel this area. Get rid of the small shower rooms & perhaps cut down in size the exercise room nearby. Still, we would love to return someday. We loved it here.

  Centrally located with tasteful rooms

  Very good location with very tastefully decorated rooms. Everything is walking distance. Solid choice Location: in the city center at picturesque KarlsSq. Market Sq and Luther House are less than 5-7 min walk away. Parking tricky, hotel has a parking for EUR 12. For the castle you need to take your car. Room: our room was very spacious and very tastefully decorated with wooden floors. There was minibar, safe. There is no AC which might be a problem in summer. Our room was to the Sq but it was not noisy Bathroom toiletries did not include body lotion which would have been nice. Breakfast: buffet (you told staff what you wanted because of Corona) had good choice but was not exceptional. Probably would have expected more. We ask for an espresso, initially there seemed a problem but in the end it never arrived. Staff friendliness: rather mixed - some very nice, other outright rude.
