Another Great holiday! This was our second visit to this hotel and despite the current restrictions due to Covid, it didn't affect our stay. The room was clean and the bed was so comfy. We were lucky with our room and had a great view of the sea. The staff at this hotel cannot be faulted and are so pleasant and friendly, they are a real credit to the hotel! Breakfast was lovely as always and due to the changes, was brought to our table. Looking forward to our next stay!

Friendly & helpful staffJust stayed for one night with my daughter. Had a cosy warm room all be it a little worn in places but the bed was super comfy...so a great nights sleep was had. No noise from outside.Fantastic breakfast with lots to choose from & your allowed to choose a lot! Great location & a fab swimming pool which we had all to our self..which was a bonus. When we arrived I couldnt work out how to get the tv on so I rang reception & immediately Simon the porter came to help & sorted it out. Later on I asked for more t & c & that wasnt a problem either. He was a very friendly & helpful man & even offered me a map of the area! But what I am really impressed with, was that I left a bag behind in my room. I rang them up & they said housekeeping had found it & put it in the post for me & sure enough two days later it arrived! I am so grateful for such honest staff at the Legacy Hotel Victoria ...we will definitely be back!

Will not stay there againwe arrived and there was a older man behind reception slumped back in his chair and we asked if we could have a room for 2 nights, he replied with well it all depend and then continued to tell us we should not be travelling and staying over night as we could be bringing the virus with us and give it to everyone there and then next year nobody could come on holiday as they would of all caught covid and that would be the end for them all, he continued in front of other quests saying we shouldn't be there and kept saying tier 3 when we are tier 2 and it made me feel as though we were lepers, he continued to be abrupt and nasty and had no people skills and then said he would ring the manager and ask if we could stay, the manager said yes we were fine to stay and he didn't like that so walked off in a sulk, if it wasn't so late and if i knew there was somewhere else to stay i would of walked out , when we got to the room it was in need of a make over and the bath had rust on it and a very long black hair in it which clearly wasn't mine and sink had a stain , a floor board was missing under the carpet so a very big dent in the middle of the room, the window was stuck and it took me a few minutes to get it open which i needed too as the room was very stuffy, i checked where the nearest fire exit was at the end of the corrider and the red fire call button was blocked off with a piece of wood so you couldn't press it if there was a fire, the breakfast was nice but when i went to pour my coffee the cup and the saucer were filthy so had to ask for a clean one, i will not be returning to this hotel and i will not recomend it either.

Unfortunately, below averageWe had a three night stop here and Im going to start out on a positive note and say the location was brilliant, and couldnt fault the staff either as they were very friendly. We were greeted by a welcoming lady at reception who told us what we needed to know and checked us in. They are also very strict COVID-19 guidelines, with informative posters all around the hotel and sanitisers on every floor. The parking was £5 a day, which we thought was very reasonable but found it absolutely shocking that you werent guaranteed a space! There were two very small car parks, which were unbelievably tight and members of the public are able to us as well. Which is wrong especially as we have prepayed before hand. Ideally if you want to get a space if you go out for the day, make sure your back by 5pm at the very latest- that way theres more chance of getting a space. The lift was broken so we had to take the stairs which was a bit of an inconvenience especially as we had suitcases. But we understand, things like that happen. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were unbelievably comfy, but it could do with a refurbishment as its very dated. A chipped mirror, broken drawers, scratched sink, scuffed bath, damp marks on the ceiling etc. Ive included some pictures. We went down for breakfast, and again we were greeted by a lovely lady. It was all table service and you had a choice of a cooked breakfast with a continental option. We we waited 25 MINUTES for our order to be taken, I honestly dont see why as it was fairly quiet and seemed like they had an adequate amount of staff. Once we ordered, it took a further 30 minutes for the food to come out. Which was shocking! Especially as they only give you a two hour window for breakfast. The food was edible, rather cold - I expected it to be hotter as it took so long. We didnt say anything we chose not to have breakfast there again. Hopefully the breakfast time isnt always like this and it was just a one off occurrence. Overall cant fault the location and the staff, but the hotel as a whole could with a facelift and would not recommend the breakfast!
