low price, but you get what you pay for.The room was clean and the people very friendly, but the room had no shower rails and the shower had been removed leaving it to spray all over the room. Also intermittent hot water which after a long hot sticky day was not great. restaurant service was slow but food generous and well cooked.

You get what you pay for!The only good thing I can say is that the it was very clean. I got 2 rooms that had a door between for me, my Ugandan sister and her 2 kids. We went almost 3 days without power. I understand Ugandan power but their generator kept going out and apparently there was only one guy in the world that could get it working and they couldn't get in touch with him. Had to use the flashlight on my phone, they didn't even provide candles. The "breakfast" was pitiful. I've been to Uganda 5 times and it was just pitiful. The dinners were good although everything was over cooked and over priced. Lots of street noise and when it rained hard the rain came in under the windows. Normally I could control the water using towels but one day there was an inch of water over the whole floor in the room. We stayed there for 2 weeks. I don't know why they advertise Wi-fi, don't count on it. If you want to contact anyone or post anything, go to an internet cafe. All I could do was message my husband if I sat in the lobby, when they had "wi-fi". Oh yeah, there was a TV in the room but everyone had to watch the same thing. We didn't watch a lot of TV, hardly any, but it was always on soap operas, sports or news. One day we were watching a movie and they changed the channel before the movie was over.

"Low prices for a surprisingly wonderful time.."with it's location so near to the ever breezy shores of Lake Victoria, i hardly expected it to be soo affordable a place., well the waitresess weren't the most experienced, but they did try to provide the best services possible. but what really caught my eye about this hotel was how welcoming all staff can be, they literally make u so comfortable, that u can hardly depart without having know all their names by heart. not forgetting their improved wi-fi that's 4G now as compared to some nearby hotels i had passed through prior to checking in here. Honestly i was deterred from coming here sooner by the reviews i had read but i am happy i trusted my gut and gave this small but big hearted place a chance u should too because i can now head back to England relaxed and ready to share my experience in the pearl of Africa.

Nice Hide outThis place is ok for a budget traveler. The people here are very nice and very helpful. They receptionists are very friendly and resolve complaints very quickly. They have arrangement with cab drivers who take you to the city center and back safely at a minimal amount. These drivers are very respectful and exercise a lot of patience. The food served at the restaurant not bad, breakfast is serve on time and the attendants very friendly. The facilities at the room was not the best and hence the need for improvement. No fridge, no air conditioner, no fan, the water heater was not working and sometimes noise coming from the ground floor in the night. In all l spent 8 nights here and the cool weather in the night gives a great feeling

Best for budget travelSpent two nights here while on business travel in November 2017. Very clean rooms, fast WiFi connection and friendly service from staff. The breakfast buffet has wonderful options. Entire package very reasonably priced. Excellent choice for budget travel!
