  Wow! :) What can I say...

  Everything about my stay at the Hotel Victoria was flawless from the beginning. They kindly replied in excellent english to my grandmothers questions in emails to the Hotel, by the kind receptionist which calmed her queries about the airport pickup. We were picked up by one of the receptionists who is LOVELY and immediately welcomed us and gave us great facts and advice about Skopje and explained everything in the hotel when we arrived, and helped us with our bags to our rooms... The next day, breakfast! The entire hotel is extremely clean and well equipped (shower, bed.. comfort fantastic). Breakfast was delicious, a wide range of food to choose from (Bread, cereals, hams, cheese, eggs, yoghurts.. fruits) and excellent Coffee and tea and a friendly, helpful chatty service from the family who run the hotel. Throughout the trip I was touched by their chatting, their care about your day and how comfortable your stay is and how much they looked after my grandmother too. Always keen to help book taxis, give directions, chat about Macedonia in general and advise on what is best to do with your day. We were told that the motto of the hotel is 'Arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend', I will definitely be back when I come back to Skopje and I would recommend nowhere else... :) Thankyou so much for making our stay fantastic Hotel Victoria, best wishes for the rest of the year :)

  Good location

  The staff is very friendly, always at your service. Rooms are equipped with everything a visitor needs. The hotel is located in a quiet area and away from the city for half an hour on foot. If you want to have lunch or dinner at the hotel it is necessary to advance.

  Skopje the capital of Macedonia - more than expected

  Within my spring journey this year I spent two days in Skopje, Macedonia's capital. This city was a total surprise to me in a positive sense. Firstly we did a panoramic sightseeing by bus and then we took a walk to the city center on the river Vardar. Everything we had seen was very interesting, so I recommend to others: Kale Fort, the Mosque of Mustafa Pasha, the church of St. Spas, which was partially built under the ground for Turkish law at that time in which the churches should not exceed the mosques, Old Bazaar, Stone Bridge, Mother Teresa's birthplace and her statue, St. Clement of Ohrid and his temple, Samuil Fortress, Church of St. Sophia. In the evening we were on a traditional Macedonian dinner with a folklore program in a restaurant in the city center called Macedonian House. Beautiful ambience, great food, kind staff and musicians who have entertained us have left a deep impression on me. The town is beautiful especially at night with wonderfully illuminated buildings and monuments. The accommodation was in the Victoria hotel, less than half an hour's walk from the city center. It's a small family hotel, clean and tidy, with air conditioning, free wifi and TV and friendly staff. We got value for money.

  Amazing experience at this 4* family run hotel

  All the guys at this lovely family run 4* hotel are going out of their way to meet and exceed Your expectations! We were a group of runners, attending the Skopje Marathon, so the entire hotel was "ours". The owners did everything to accommodate us, from early breakfast, to late check-out, extra towels... I could go on and on about them. The hotel itself is great, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms are more than spacious. The breakfast was excellent, and varied from cold meats, cereals, fresh salads, cheese, tea and coffee freshly made... The location is a about 20 minutes walk from the city, and its a pleasant walk to the city, so if your not a "walker" - call a taxi - its cheap in Skopje - the fare is about 1.5 EUR per way, and the front desk is always glad to call a cab.

  Family owned hotel wich realyy understands great customer service

  Family owned hotel with friendly service, a warm welcome and providing excellent value. Tucked away in a quiet location with great views from balcony of surrounding hills but only a 15-20 minute walk into centre of Skopje. Sanja is always smiling and ready to help suggest local places worth a visit!
