    FIRE EVACUATION INSTRUCTIONS IN ENGLISH PLEASE.

    Due to our experience, I was tempted to rate this hotel Terrible. Around 3AM, everybody was awakened by a deafening Japanese warning which we could only assume had something to do with fire, because we couldn't feel any earthquake. Automatically, we tried to call the front desk to ask what was going on. No one answered our repeated calls! From the 11th floor, my husband went down to the 3rd floor (reception location) via the elevator. The desk clerk said in halting English that it was a false alarm and that they were trying to stop it. That's another problem: they couldn't make it stop for the longest time! It was horribly scary not knowing what was happening. On our floor, like us, the Chinese guests didn't know what to do either. IF IT WAS A REAL FIRE, MANY PEOPLE WOULD HAVE DIED. Setting aside this occurrence, the location of Via Inn is really close to Shinsaibashi subway station and Americamura. Just cross the wide Mido-suji Avenue and you're at the shopping street that leads to Dotonbori. Shopping and food choices all nearby. 7-11 on the 1st floor of Via Inn. Only the male manager ever smiled. They did lend out umbrellas when it rained. The room was small and clean, but comfortable with fridge. NO safety deposit box. Housekeeping was very courteous. Breakfast was more than sufficient.

    Good service and comfortable hotel

    (This hotel is near the Shinsaibashi subway station, the staffs are kind and courteous, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also delicious. It's highly recommended if you have plan to visit Osaka.)

    Great spot.

    Friendly staff with easy checkin. Look for the 7eleven as the english sign is small. Room was fine and quiet. Close to metro subway for easy access to Osaka and Shin-Osaka stations. 200 metres from Shinsaibashi mall and walk down to Dotonbori. Just great.

    Nice hotel

    We have heard much about this hotel and was highly recommended by colleagues. We decided to give it a go and the price was MORE THAN REASONABLE. We arrived late at night and it was quite a walk from Nankai Namba Station. The check-in agent was very experienced; the whole process was done within 6 minutes. The room was larger than expected and was comfortable for 2 adults and a child. The room and under the bed was found clean. What was good about our room was that the window were able to open to allow the fresh, cool air in (it can get stuffy with the heat on). Breakfast (0630~0930) was budget type, but we found it to be acceptable and not too shabby. Location wise, as mentioned earlier, quite a walk from Nankai Namba Station. It is close to Uniqlo but after a while, the distance is unnoticeable. I would stay again as the staff were warm and friendly. Price wise, excellent and well worth the money.

    Small and quaint.

    Typical to most Japanese hotels space is a premium. But if u are looking for a clean comfortable place to stay then check out Via Inn. Apparently there is a lot of Via Inn around but I choose this as it very near a subway stop. Also walking distance to the shopping districts and other entertainment is nearby like donburi. The room was small and did not have a wardrobe. Just a small niche in the wall to hang u stuff. With 2 luggage bags taking up the floor space, it was quite cramped. But no complaints as this is Japan. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They did their best in their stuttering English but they get their message across. Overall a good stay and will return. No fear of Covid as the society was civic minded and majority wore face mask.
