  Lost kingdom

  After driving 1000 km I was looking for the place for staying overnight and saw a red building by the road. It was half an hour after midnight and there was no one in reception desk. I took a little walk and saw a sauna and pool on the ground floor. In 5 minutes a pretty girl entered and offered me the last vacant room, which was not eco and not the cheapest one: 64 plus 5 for breakfast. I checked the room and I liked it: very large, with hugh windows and king size bed. I slept very well. My breakfast was a la carte, I could to order food from menu. I asked salty pancakes with ham and cheese, but got sweet pancakes with ceam. I ate it and after asked my salty pancakes. I got it with apologies. Why lost kingdom? Big rooms, big restaurant, parked white limousine on the front side, fontain and park... but, everything looks old and tired. Toilet seat was broken and I found empty condom package on the top of closet. This motel is located by the via baltica road and might be a visit card for baltic states, but unfortunately it is not.

  never come back there

  Staff wasn't friendly, food was like from the hospital- without any taste, cold, wouldn't say it was fresh (salmon). Waiting time was really long,twice asked for food.. Quite often we are on that road, but we defintely will avoid this place. But I have to say it is nice from outside.

  Ok for overnight

  Stayed here for 1 night on our way to Poland. Arrived after 23.00. Booked via booking.com and check in was very fast, no details to be filled. Just paid and went to sleep. Room was very hot but we slept window open. No blanket needed. No black out curtains. Wc shower is outdated but ok for overnight. Bed was ok. Sheets clean. Breakfast from 9.00. We took eggs w bacon which was edible, simple but ok. Cost 2.75, orange juice 1eur and coffee 1.20. Not my top breakky but ok. Parking is free next to the hotel. Use waze for ex for directions, we got there with no trouble.

  Worst hotel experience

  When we saw the room on booking.com, it looked really nice but in real life it was more of a motel. In the front of the hotel is a sitting area and there was a homeless men sleeping. It wasnt a really welcoming entrance. But the most horrible thing happened when i noticed gum on the shelf above the bed. I was really discussed by it, so we went to the front office, the lady was really rude and went upstairs with us. She lays down on the bed, scooped of the gum (the gum fell on the bed) and walk out of the room. I was really disturbed and shocked. The bathroom was filled with fungus, the walls and sealings were absolutely disgusting. The food was terrible. We ordered the salmon steak with fries. The salmon was definitely not fresh but it was fine, but the vegetables (corn and green beans) were canned and cold. I would never recommend someone to visit via Baltica.

  Just awful!

  Not a hotel but a motel. Greeted by shouting staff and other guests, very smelly room, extremely dirty bathroom including the toilet and overall an unpleasant stay. Fortunately we were only stopping over en route or we would have gone to another hotel. Just avoid!
