  Good location and good for family with children

  It locates in beach site in American village. So, while you stay here, you can enjoy the beach, being lazy and doing nothing and then go for shopping in the evening till midnight. This is the best part I like this hotel. It is roomy and clean though the price is not cheap. Fair enough.

  Disappointed with the experience

  We checked in with 6 luggages and there was no bellboy to help us. And the receptionist did not tell me which lift to take, so naturally we went to the nearest lift. And when we went to the right floor, we couldn't find the room. We had to push all our luggage down again to check with the receptionist. He then told us there's another lift, which we had to get out of the main entrance and enter by the side door. I thought such information should be given to us upfront. We went to the pool, only to realize that we have to pay for the access card. So again, we went down to the ground floor, get the card (which cost 1000 yen) and go back up again. This is the first time I have to pay to use the pool. And taking the lift is such a pain, it's super slow and it's always packed.

  Room With A Good Sea View

  We booked this room that could housed 5 of us and with sea view at a reasonable cost. View from the balcony was indeed good and refreshing especially in the morning. Sunset Beach just right beside the hotel was even for sunset view. Unfortunately we didn't manage to have a good view of the sun setting as it was cloudy. Like any hotel in American Village, its location is good as we can strolled around easily, taking our meals and did some shopping all by walking. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The stay was indeed present and comfortable.

  Great value stay at one of the prominent hotels in Chatan

  Parking was plentiful, although I didnt get the chance to use the outdoor parking, as I was always directed to the electronic parking lots. Parking there took some time to get the car each morning and always felt like a rush to pack and unpack our stuff when we collected or dropped off our car at the hotel. Check-in was easy, and the receptionists could speak pretty decent English. There was an option offered if you did not need daily room keeping, you can exchange for a coupon worth a few hundred yen which could be used at the convenience store. The room were very good sized and views from the room was pretty decent, with a small balcony in the room. There was tea and coffee provided, along with other useful amenities. We were surprised that they left fresh towels for us at the door even though we elected for the no-room keeping option. The onsen on the top floor was one of the best hotels ones Ive been too, with onsen overlooking the sea, and with sauna (which was set a little too warm in my opinion) and cold bath. There was even dispensing machine with milk which you could purchase after the bath. Location was great too as it was right in the heart of the American Village, where all the action and plenty of food options all around. Price of the hotel kept fluctuating though, and I had to cancel my hotel and do a rebooking as the price fell by half from the time I booked previously, so do check on that for some cost saving.

  Great stay near America Village

  After spending 3 nights at Motobu, we drove south and spent one night at this hotel. We booked a room with 4 beds at Annex Building with sea beach view. We chose the hotels due to her rave reviews and the location is close to America Village. The hotel car park lots are easily taken up so it would be advisable to secure one first before you visit America Village. Parking is free. The check in process was smooth. The receptionist provided useful info on the breakfast location, wifi password, public bath opening hours and meal options nearby. They provide welcome drinks, coffee, tea and ice cream. There is a section near the reception where you can take bathrobes, towels, toiletries, creams etc. I must commend that the toothbrush is the most comfort to use among all the hotels I stayed over these few years. The room is clean and spacious for 4 persons. It is located next to Sunset beach and there were many tourists who made their way to take sunset photos. There is Lawson (open 24 hr) on the first level opposite the lifts at the Annex block. We enjoyed the one night stay as there are plenty of shops in American Village for you to spend the evening. We did not go to any of the recommended restaurant as we already have planned to have our dinner at an Indian restaurant which was located 10 min walk outside the village. Would recommend this hotel as the staff are professional and some are conversant in English and Mandarin. The hotel breakfast is good with good range of choice. It maybe pricey but the location, service and room comfort are all worth it.
