  Just had 3 weeks at Vesma Villas in Hikkaduwa, What a Wonderful place and Staff, Boutique hotel, Quiet and beautiful. Set in the Jungle yet 5 mins from the beach, 10 minutes to walk there or 2 mins in tuk tuk for £1.50 . Rooms are fresh and immaculate. On arrival owner gives you Moblie phone with helpful numbers and reliable tuk tuk drivers. Cant wait for next year to come again.So relaxing, Picture View from balcony.

  Paradise!

  Absolutely amazing paradise almost in the jungle, yet near the beach and restaurants, only short tuktuk ride away. Super quiet and comfortable.  The staff is so nice and everywhere is spotless clean. Breakfast is great, and we had also a few good lunches by the pool. The place is so small, that you get to know all the quests and staff, which was great. I heard the suites are awesome, but our villa was just perfect.

  A true oasis.

  I can't really add much that hasn't already been said. This place is a real oasis away from the hustle bustle of Hikkaduwa which is a 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride away. I have stayed in places all over the world but nowhere comes close to the relaxing atmosphere of Vesma Villas. Even Kevin the dog walks around with a smile on his face. Thanks to Syb, Thushara, Rasi and all the staff for a magical time.

  Utterly wonderful!

  We stayed here for just over a week and it was incredible! We were the only guests staying so had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in one of the suites and it was immaculate and really nicely furnished. The property is situated in a quiet location around 15 minutes from the beach on foot, although the staff will arrange a tuk tuk for you if you don't want to walk. Thank you to all the staff for making an amazing holiday perfect. We will definitely come and stay again.

  Fantastic

  Wow what a wonderful place, the staff could not do enough for us and the outlook into the jungle and paddy fields is stunning. The rooms are immaculate, and the food was fantastic. We arrived 15th March 2020 just as Sri Lanka were to have their first few cases of coronavirus. We had been at Vesma Villas for 3 days and then had a visit from the Health department who explained to us that we could not leave the area due to the spread of coronavirus, the following day the curfew was announced. Unfortunately, we were advised by the management that we should consider cutting our holiday short, which we did and left the hotel 5 days earlier than anticipated. We cannot thank all the staff enough for looking after us while we were under curfew and going shopping for us, while we could not leave the hotel, and for also organising our taxi back to the airport with all the necessary paperwork to travel on the roads. We were very sad to leave and hope all the staff are safe and well. We will be returning once this pandemic is over and will be re-booking with you. Stay Safe.
