  Comfortable, Clean and Convenient (but no soap ;-)

  We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed a comfortable bed in a large clean and bright room. Sarah was helpful and provided a pleasant choice of breakfast. Vernon Lodge was easy to find on a wide and fairly quiet avenue in Swanage with ample on-street parking. The only slightly surprising aspect of our stay amused us - it was the first time we had encountered a 'no soap provided' B&B. Luckily we found we had brought some but we would have rather paid an extra pound or whatever a day for it to be provided.

  Wonderful.

  From the time we arrived we were welcomed with a smile and helpfulness,we had a twin room and it was spotless.The breakfast was wonderful.We had a lovely break.location good.Highly recommend,and we are really fussy! We will return.

  Lovely

  The owners gave us a very friendly welcome and were super helpful. The room was nice, with the most comfortable bed! Big bathroom, good location, just a short walk into town and the seafront. Highly recommended.

  Fabulous location for beach visits and exploring the area. Top hosts.

  I loved the super-comfy bed and MASSIVE bathroom. The hosts were really friendly and couldn't do enough. Parking is on local unrestricted roads and we always found a place. I also loved the cooked breakfast.

  Lovely relaxing place to stay

  Had a trip with my family to beautiful Swanage and Vernon Lodge was such a great B&B. Sarah is a lovely host and cooks a great breakfast. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Walking distance to the beach and so pretty with the steam train station down the road. Really relaxing stay, will definitely be back!
