  So quiet, clean, and comfortable!

  Enjoyable stay during the Holidays. Looks recently remodeled. I needed to let the paint fumes at our home evaporate so, we decided to go to a Hotel room. It was like a mini-vacation! Spa tub was just what I needed after painting our home. Of course the pool is not open yet due to Covid-19. But 2 TV's in our Suite allowed the wife to watch her show and my sci-fi adventures!! Great get away for both of us!

  Best Western Plus Lafayette Vermilion River Inn & Suites

  I had to work in the area and their rooms looked great. I stayed for a few nights and really liked the rooms and everyone was nice . There are a few places to eat that you could walk to or a short drive. I would stay there again.

  Great hotel

  This was our first stay here. It was very nice. Loved the room. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Only thing I would have wanted was a roll of paper towels in kitchen. But that definitely didnt take away from my stay. We will be back if were back in Lafayette.

  Not following COVID safety requirements. No ventilation in room/shower. Poor accommodations.

  I typically stay at Best Western hotels when traveling for business, but this poor experience led me to seek out a Hilton property instead. This hotel was not following COVID safety protocols, no signage, staff either did not wear masks or wore masks inappropriately (below nose, below chin). I was staying in a 2 bed suite, and the upgrade was not worth the price. The bathroom/shower in the room did not have ventilation, so when you step out of the shower, the room is so humid that you're immediately sweating. No ventilation, only a light. The shower curtain did not reach the top of the tub, so water sprayed out during the shower causing the floor to be a wet, slippery mess. When I turned down the bed, there were stains on the sheets. There was also hair in clumps on the floor, carpet. This gave me the feeling that the room wasn't cleaned properly, leading me to feel even more unsafe during COVID times. Even upon reporting the issues and concerns over COVID protocols, the front desk staff left her mask at her chin, as though my safety was not her concern. Very disappointing experience.

  Won't stay here again

  The clerk assigned us to an occupied room. When I went back to the desk less than 5 minutes later he didn't remember me. Next room had non-working tv and phone. Hurricane evacuees were living there with no respect for other guests. Noise, dogs barking, cigarette and Marijuana smell in halls. Should have been notified of the evacuees being housed there aren't I made the reservation.
