  Very Near to the sea but the feel is kind of staying in hospital

  We stayed in Verano for a one night for our first time trip to Kolobrzeg.. The hotel was full of old people.. we were the only two young. The staff was not much proficient. The morning breakfast was also very bland and with very limited option. we avoided having dinner there. The room they gave us was small. i requested them for one double bed and they gave us two single bed. The bathroom was big but very very ordinary. There is nothing special about this hotel and if you are on holidays i dont suggest this hotel at all.. its kind of old age home.

  Great weekend.

  It was a great weekend. Verano hotel is very nice, and comfortable place. There are fantastic dinners! The hotel is near the beach, only about 50 meters! Amazing. This is good place for holidays. Only one "minus" is price, in my opinion it is too high.

  Peace and calm near the sea and on budget

  Excellently located, a short walk from the beach, Verano is a rather large resort, or 'kur-hotel, with 280-odd rooms spread among a number of interconnected pavillions on a green site. Decor a bit dated and naff, as you would expect from a 'sanatorium' but it was impeccably clean, comfortable and very good value for the money. There's a good range of treatments on offer. The salt water pool is lovely. The staff - both in hospitality and healthcare departments - were always competent, pleasant and helpful, with a very positive attitude. The Reception team, in particular, is world class - proactive and super-nice! We had full board there and the buffet meal options were varied, very tasty and fresh. There was plenty of healthy options and generous amounts of vegetables at all meals, but for some reason hardly any fruit at all, even at breakfast. A week long 'Wiosna at Verano' package included 6 treatments, a salt grotto session and 3no swimmingpool area vouchers, which was very good value indeed. The only bad sides were the doctor who's seen me on arrival to agree a programme of treatment - she was brusque, abrupt and seemed to discharge her role on sufferance only and one of the otherwise lovely dining hall staff, a bleached-hair battleaxe, who patrolled the isles wordlessly with a scowl on her face performing her tasks at glacial pace, once confiscating the condiments from our table without a word only to bring back similar set towards the end of the meal.

  3 week wasted

  I stayed in Verano for three weeks. It was my first visit in Kolobrzeg. I've planned to rest and relax with some medical activities (spa, massage etc.) but the place was extremely noisy during a night hours because of permanent party organized by this same big group of people. Management didnt react properly and cannot stop those noises for seven nights in the row. The meals wasnt so great, fat and not extremely hot I dont recommend this place unless you like the night life

  Horrible s.hole

  2 weeks wasted Rooms horrible. The ghosts of communism everywhere. Guests mostly Polish some German unfriendly and even hostile. Poor room and cleaning service. Garbage emptied every other day. Must ask for clean towels and vacuum. The building is old and poorly adapted for modern use. This is not hotel. This is a hospital with ridiculous rules. Corridors not lit adequately. No elevators: just ask the older and overweight guests. English speaking service non-existent. If English is the only language you speak dont go there you will be lost. Personnel largely indifferent to your needs. Salt water pool way too small and always overcrowded. Never again .
