  Beautiful apartments, great location

  We were so very welcomed on arrival by Sue, she was so friendly and helpful, even before we arrived with questions we had, Sue was amazing. We had undercover parking which was great. We booked two apartments for my family and their partners. Each room had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, we had a pool room view. The rooms were amazing and beautifully decorated. Room were fully self catered for with everything you needed just like you were at home. The swimming pool was lovely with a large BBQ area. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Also great location to resturants, bars, supermarket and shops. Thanks for making our trip a memorable time.

  Fantastic location and wonderful service

  We found Verandahs online and I'm so glad we did. Sue and her family were fantastic hosts - nothing was too much of a problem - from early check in to late check out... Lovely apartment over looking the pool - plenty of DVDs to borrow but we didn't need them - it's so close to some lovely restaurants and great bars we didn't have the time - would highly recommend this place - we will be back

  The perfect place to get away.

  I am a regular at Verandahs and have been staying there for years now. - evidence of being a very satisfied customer. As soon as the Queensland border went down i immediately planned an escape to Port Douglas. The Managers Sue and Greg as usual were warm and welcoming even after going through such challenging times. My regular room was ready and each time it looks as though it has been freshly painted and always immaculate. And it's the little things that always adds to a good trip. Noticing that i was on my way to the pool, Greg quickly turned the pool heater on just to add that extra bit of comfort for me. My morning ritual of up with the sun and a two minute walk from Verandahs to the glorious beach, big blue sky, warm water and at most 20 people on a Four Mile Beach - just heaven. Also within a very short walk is great coffee and meals at High Tide right on the beach. Verandahs' location is perfect. I cannot recommend it enough - this pandemic is challenging but a trip to Verandahs in Far North Queensland is the perfect place to find a bit of paradise. Go and give my regards to wonderful Sue and Greg!

  Wonderful place, Wonderful hosts

  Position perfect, so close to everything. Place was clean and well presented. Little things needing attention, like the water container had stale water in it the day we arrived, and hadn't been changed when we left - which was 9 days! Hosts were just wonderful, very helpful with all manner of enquiries. Will definitely return.

  Best location in Port Douglas

  Stayed at Verandahs for our 5 night stay in Port Douglas and couldnt have been more pleased with the location! Extremely friendly and helpful staff with the famous 4 mile beach only a block away! Walking distance to everywhere in PD!
