  Very Chinese-y decor, not much of an outside view

  From the road the hotel doesn't have its own proper entrance, one have to pass through several other buildings before you reach the hotel.The hotel building is enclosed by other buildings all around it. The lobby is quite welcoming, with a long drain-like fish pond with huge carps swimming in it and its own little garden with a little bridge across it.We chose a room on the first floor. Room was suprisingly large but furniture was rather dated, especially the wardrobe.Toilet is clean and there is a shower cubicle with warm water.There is a modern tv set with all the appropriate channels.The room has a curtained round window like a large porthole overlooking the lobby area. Breakfast is buffet-style with quite a spread but everything is rather bland. For a stop-over for the airport the next day or if you are going to be out on your holiday activities the whole day, the hotel is quite adequate.

  COCKROACHES ON ROOM

  we arrive at the hotel on April 2014, we came up with the group. good to look ahead, and when I was in the room, I saw a lot of cockroaches!! damn very standard room, small bed, ac, and tv the room little dirty and the wallpaper on the wall going to peel off for the breakfast great, have much food, and the F & B Manager so nice, but staff on front office not friendly

  Unique Decoration Hotel

  The first time i walked onto this hotel, i was impressed with it's decorations / id finishing. It is very difference and unique from hotels i've ever going. My eyes never stop staring on the walls. In front of the hotel lobby, theres a fish pond and a bridge. People's normally relax here using wifi and taking pictures. I stay on the ground floor. Unluckily the wifi signal on my room are so weak, i've to use internet at the hotel lobby. The room for families are clean and big. The breakfast are at the 1st floor, the dishes are almost same like Malaysian food. Anyway, i'm enjoy staying at this hotel.

  Pleasant stay

  Travelling to Surabaya with friends a few years ago, having driven from Jember, we stayed at the first hotel we came across. It turned out to be a very pleasant and expensive looking hotel. We were all surprised how reasonable the room rate was. Far below what we expected from the look of the hotel. There were no inconveniences that are sometimes experienced with hotels in Indonesia. Although we only stayed one day and night before we moved on, we experienced a very pleasant stay with good sized rooms and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and all the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to other travellers.

  old building.. price is high.. the biulding is unique..

  came here for transit to Denpasar.. came here because like unique building.. but the price is high enough for that service.. very standart room.. and not clean enough... breakfast was so so.. the staff not help me much..
