  Historical but needs repair.

  This is in fact a very old historical building however it looks it and little has been done to restore it. I see the potential and it's sad to see if falling apart. Just things like hiding cords that run from the TV to the wall, hanging pictures properly, painting, etc. It really needs some TLC. Staff is super nice and accommodating. It's located in the perfect spot, just a little walk to town.

  Quaint Historic Hotel

  This is a nice property one block away from the Prescott court house, you can't beat this great location close to the most vibrant area of Prescott. The hotel is a historical building where you can travel back in time, rooms are well restored were you can have a nice rest after walking the downtown. You can also sit down at the porch and look people passing by the street. Room was a little small but thats the charm of the historical hotel experience.

  Cozy Boutique Hotel in Historic Prescott

  Hotel Vendome is a cozy boutique hotel situated right by the main square of historic Prescott. We were easily able to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping from the hotel. The check-in process was contactless and very efficient. When checking out, all we had to do was drop the room key at the front desk and that was it. The people working at the hotel were friendly and wore face masks at all times. The lobby area was spotless. I usually take pictures of the room, but I forgot to take pictures until after we'd already put our stuff everywhere and I don't like to take pictures once we've messed up the room. I did snap a few pics of the front of the hotel, the lobby, and the downstairs hallway though. The room and bathroom were very clean and perfect for an overnight stay. The room itself was fairly small (king-sized bed though), but we didn't need a lot of space because we weren't spending much time in the room anyways. The bathroom had a large shower. They have suites you can book if you need more space. What stopped me from giving this hotel five stars is our sleeping experience. We specifically booked Room #9 because the description on the hotel's website said Room #9 is located in 'a nice quiet spot' of the building. Unfortunately, we had a terrible night's sleep because the ceiling was creaking all night from people walking around on the second floor above us. I'm not a light sleeper, but the loud creaking continuously woke me up throughout the night. My husband slept just as poorly as I did because of the creaking. I would have booked a room on the second floor had I known of this issue. I recommend the hotel change their description for Room #9 accordingly.

  Overnight stay

  My daughter and I just stayed this weekend. Check in process was very easy and staff was great. We stayed in Abbys room. Nothing paranormal to report about the room, but was a pleasant stay. We did capture some interesting video and pictures of the first floor hallway and stairs. As with any old buildings, the floors creak when you walk. The bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom is kind of small, but was nice. Found the drawer of cat toys for Noble and a notebook listing previous experiences, which was very interesting to look over. Great distance to walk around town.

  So quaint!

  We loved this place! Straight out of a western movie! In the middle of downtown, easy walk to all the restaurants and bars. Comfortable rooms, wonderful staff. They have a bar in the lobby with local beers ($6) and tasty wines by the bottle. Very secure, the front door is always locked and only guests have the code. We would definitely stay here again.
