  Fantástico hotel!

  Hemos pasado 9 días de Agosto en este hotel y todo ha sido perfecto, empleados amables, habitaciones e instalaciones muy limpias y desayuno sencillo pero muy bueno, con mermeladas caseras y buñuelos con miel recién hechos.Además aunque el hotel estaba lleno disfrutamos de una tranquilidad absoluta.

  Great place for your stay on Kythira

  We stayed at Venardos for several weeks in September and recommend it highly. The management and staff made us feel like family for our entire stay. The rooms were clean and bright, and the included breakfast was outstanding. We'd highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

  Awful unprofessional attitude and service

  We booked the property through booking.com. They called us the next day to report that due to overbooking they couldn't accommodate us. We asked them to cancel our booking as we have already booked ferry tickets and we were about to look for another property. They replied that we should cancel ourselves through booking but on such a case a penalty would be applied (we would be liable for the cancellation). We kindly asked them to cancel on their end (since it was their fault) and they were trying to find excuses to avoid it. In the end, they set my card as invalid but the penalty was still in place for us. We kindly asked repeatedly for a written confirmation that they couldn't accommodate us due to overbooking but they never delivered although they promised to multiple times. At the end, they started hanging up the phone every time we tried to reach them. Such a professional attitude.. Finally, the issue was solved by booking.com when we reached out directly to them to report the property's behavior. Thank God we will never have the chance to meet them..

  Wonderful host

  Beautiful and VERY CLEAN hotel with a delightful owner. Him and the whole staff helps to make your stay as nice as possible. If I ever go back to Kithira I will book the same hotel. I recommend it with all my heart!! Just beautiful!!

  Pleasant surprise 5* stay

  We stayed there as part of a group and didnt expected much , but the hotel was the biggest surprise of our whole stay. It was spotless clean , pool as well cleaned every day and breakfast that was of hotels of upper standards . The hotel owner Manos and mr Tasos as well as the lovely lady that I dont remember her name gave everything they could in order to make our vacation a nice stay , and to my surprise obeyed all of the COVID rules . They cared about their business and for sure I come back if I visit Kythira again . We also had the best view ( room 301) with unobstructed sea view and pool view as well , so if you like request this room as well ! A happy and relaxed 3 day stay! Apostolis , from Crete !!
