  Nice big rooms

  Stay there so we could be near our friends. There was a market and massage parlor nearby as well as some small shops and restaurants. It is located a little out of central Chiang Mai. About 15 to 20 minutes from the old city. It is in a quiet area so depends on what you want to do. If you want to relax and theres a place to do that if you were looking for activity it is not so conducive to that. There is a swimming pool. We stay there three nights and had no problems then we moved to the city center where we wanted to be around more activity. No problems with the Vdara.

  Great improvement!

  I stayed here last year, and went back and stayed five nights! Loved it! They're making improvements. The beds were very comfortable, they must be new since our last visit. Nice shower, the only problem was the temperature of the water fluctuated so much, from cool to scalding hot, and then cool again. Could not control the temperature at all. The staff were very friendly. The pool is very nice. I loved it being away from the crowds. Highly recommend this place. The breakfast was good, but they still don't put out much bacon.

  Bad rules of Vdara resort !!! No traders !

  I am a regular customer. I eat at the bar and the restaurant at each of my passages. My friend accidentally dropped her glass of water, it broke. To prevent someone from getting hurt, we asked the staff to clean the floor. The staff asked us in return to pay the broken glass 50 baht. A bad surprise that has earned us a heated debate with the staff and the boss on the phone who didnt even want to make a move. Very poor business for my opinion, especially to charge twice the price of glass ! No traders at all !!

  Beautiful place. Fabulous pool!!!

  We were very well looked after during our conference. The pool was spectacular! lovely temperature. It was restful, beautiful and comfortable. I loved it!! Not walking distance to much but a grab to the city is only 120b. Internet was strong. I loved this hotel!

  Really enjoyed our stay

  We had a beautiful room on the 46th floor looking over the Bellagio fountain. All staff were amazing ! There is no casino in the hotel but if you feel the need you can easily take the tram to Bellagio.
