Fantastico!
Muy buen hotel, gente atenciosa y cariñosa. Hotel muy tranquilo con habitación limpia y excelente comida, Distancia a la playa 10 minutos caminando y 20 minutos hasta el centro. Supermercado y restaurantes cerca del hotel

Relaxing and peaceful
We have just got back from a perfect week staying here. The hotel was clean. The grounds were beautiful and the location is quiet with a small quiet beach just across the road with free sun beds. Always a sun bed round the pool so no rush to put your towel out at silly oclock! Lots of choice at breakfast and dinner. The lady ( cant believe we never asked her name!) on reception was really helpful for us, advising us on how to get here or there. She booked us taxis, gave us bus information. She organised car hire. Organised a last minute picnic lunch when she realised we were heading off on a walk for the day! She was lovely and always had time for a chat every morning. A lovely break away. I would recommend

Too good to share but cant be selfish!
From start to finish staff were friendly and attentive in this relaxing and peaceful hotel. The rooms were spotless and a big thank to the maids nothing was too much trouble they always had a big smile on their face. The pool area was nice and clean and there was a choice of 2 pools that where clean, spacious and quiet. The snack bar at the pool had a good variety of food and drinks cant comment on dinner as we went into town to eat. Outside the hotel you could get a bus or walk into town but the hotel would phone a taxi for you costing about 6 euro. Definitely stay and recommend this hotel again as it is our favourite Xx

Great hotel for the price!
This was the second stop on our honeymoon whilst on Crete and we really enjoyed staying in Agios Nikolaos at Vasia! The hotel isnt right in the harbor, but if youre interested in the pool and beach amenities on site plus being able to walk into town its a really great location! Its about 15 minutes by foot to the start of the shops in town but very pretty and theres a beach club in between to stop for drinks/snacks that we also loved. The staff was very friendly and left us a sweet note + bottle of wine as a congratulations when we told them we were there for our honeymoon which was greatly appreciated! All in all Im so glad we stayed there and definitely recommend the sea view room which overlooked the town and harbor! A quick note on the location: if you want to stay even closer to town youre not going to find many resort style hotels. I did a ton of research before choosing Vasia and glad I did - there are other resorts on both sides of the harbor but this was the only reasonable place I found that was still walkable - wed walk to and from town during the day then taxi in at night which was 6 euro. We loved the dinners and nightlife in town which is why this location was great for us!

If you want a hotel that is within an easy walk from the town centre this is not for you. Allow 25 mins along busy main road with narrow pavements. However, it is within about 10 mins walk from a few of the finest restaurants in town. The hotel it self was very clean and the food was fairly good. Service in the restaurant was good and was in a pleasant covered terrace area. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and was clean and modern with tea and coffee making facilities (although not always topped up every day) . The bar was not up to much and they had to fetch a bottle of gin from the pool bar and then the next day the opposite way around! As for the so called private beach, this was open to all. It was dirty with the most filthy sun beds I have ever seen. Best to walk up to Wyndham Grand 5* hotel 5mins away and pay 10euros a day for 2 sun beds and an umbrella with all the 5* facilities of the hotel at your disposal. If you enjoy walking around the coast or to other villages etc., forget it. there is a short walk up the peninsular which takes about 15 mins and is dead end. There is a local bus into town but we never saw it running, so book a taxi.
