  Pure disappointment

  We have booked the standard room and were expecting it would be basic, but we didnt expect that it would be in a bad condition. In general the room furniture, kitchen and bathroom are old and badly maintained. The bed linens were old and the duvet was dirty. Kitchen furniture are pretty old, the fridge is rusty and its plastic parts broken. The bathroom was shockingly in very bad condition and dirty. Soap bars were covered in mold and the same applies to the shower tiles and curtain. Some of the tiles on the wall are ready to fall. The wooden frame of the bathroom door and window are rotten. Half of the room lights do not work. The room door doesnt close very well and the room is not sound proof at all. We were awakened very early next morning by other guests that were sitting outside at the common area and talking loudly. Definitely overpriced for such conditions. Simply I do not understand how other guests give this property 8, 9 or even 10 in their reviews in Booking. Pictures and descriptions uploaded online by the property owners are deceiving, for the standard room they do not provide pictures of the bathroom. We only liked the location of the property. It is within walking distance from the port and there is a nice beach at the back of the hotel. Because we complained for the bad conditions of our room, we were given a more decent one for the rest of our stay. But even that new room was not properly cleaned. As soon as we moved in, we found used soap bars and hair in the shower which is unacceptable. Also the safe was not attached to the wall or to the wardrobe, so anybody could walk out the room with it, useless.

  Hotel encantador muy cerca del puerto

  El hotel es muy bonito con vistas al mar formado por estudios con su cocina y con la estetica blanca de la isla. Zona muy tranquila y relajante. Amplia terraza con sombrilla, mesa, sillas y tendedero. Cerca del puerto y de la parada de bus para ir a Chora. En la zona hay restaurantes y tiendas. El desayuno bufet no muy grande. A destacar el yogur muy bueno. Personal amable y atento, explican la isla, posibles excursiones, etc. Hay servicio de recogida y traslado al puerto sin coste. A pesar de que el estudio es muy amplio, el baño y especialmente la ducha son muy pequeños.

  Good place to chill out

  Unfortunately our two week stay there was Spoilt by me having the flu (no fault of the accommodation) Necesitating a trip to the local doctor. Our host was very helpful in providing the appropriate information, etc. We stayed in the same room we used last Year, which was top notch. We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to prospective tourists.

  Superb

  We just loved staying here. So well run by the manager George who creates such a warm welcoming atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. Great balconies overlooking the little harbour. Generous breakfast with lots of choice including plenty of fresh fruit and don't forget to taste the wonderful freshly baked bread. Even small islands in Greece have bakeries almost a lost art in the rest of the world. Gorgeous terrace for breakfast or you can take it to your room. Kitchenettes too with fridge and cooker and basic equipment. Good bed linen and towels which are changed daily and bedlinen changed on alternate days. There is a terrific beach for swimming just steps away from the rear of the suites. And lots of other beaches even one near the front of the building as is the public bus stop. And guests can use the hotel minibus when it is taking guests arriving on ferries to its sister hotel up in the main village of the island and also when arriving but it is so near it is hardly worth it.

  Good place to chill out

  Our best accommodation of our six week stay in the Greek Islands. We are only sorry we didn't stay here in September as a lot of shops and cafés close down at the end of September. Sea swimming great, two local beaches for swimming nearby. A local bus to Chora (nearest town) several times a day. Adequate breakfast, manager very helpful. Good firm bed.
