  Recommended hotel in Hangzhou

  Try to flush toilete water before accepting the room. Maintennce in room 1510 was poor. I was moved to much better room. There are sufficient electricity wall connections. Free WiFi is active in the room. The internal instructions are in Englisg as well. There is a safe. No scale in the room. There are vegetables in breakfast.Wallmart supermarket is just at the hotel side as convenient for guests.

  Top notch hotel in a great city

  Vanward Hotel greets you with a busy and welcoming lobby. The reception staff were swift, courteous and professional. Instead of a rebate on the price, we chose to take the upgrade to our rooms and we were certainly not disappointed. Our rooms were on the 19th floor. They were spotless. The bathrooms were beautifully laid out with branded Sandalwood oil shower liquid and shampoo. There is a drinking water tap at the sink and a bath. The towels were fluffy and large. Above all, the bathroom was spotless. The bedrooms had King Size beds with really comfortable pillows. The wifi was free and room specific. The broadband was broad, and there was no trouble with Skype video. The writing desk was easy to work at and the view out of the window was marred only by the November rain. This hotel is well designed as a single switch puts off all the lights as you retire for the night. breakfast is slated to start at 0630, but as we had an early start, we turned up at 0615. The breakfast room was fully operational, the coffee was hot (and tasted great) with an enormous selection of breakfast foods. If you could not find a breakfast to satisfy, then you just cannot be satisfied! Service was efficient and friendly with a remarkable percentage of the staff greeting with a warm "Good Morning" I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. If I were to make a negative for the sake of a negative, the desk chair vertical hold was apt to let the chair seat sink, but I am 120kgs, so, if that is all that I can complain about (hell my own office chair does the same!!), then there is nothing to complain about!!!

  Pity I was here only one night!

  One of the best hotels I have encountered on my trips to China. Besides good and spacious room, ample breakfast and good service, the location is very good, and there is a big Wallmart supermarket the next door.

  Very good hotel

  One night only. Big room with big bathroom. Very clean at first sight, but when you look closer there were not nice surprises - like dirty corner on the floor in the shower, dirty tea spoon.... One problem - only Chinese programs in TV. Very close to Wal mart:) and other shops. Restaurant full of delicious food . Also continental.

  VANWARM I would definitly stay again

  Good hotel, service and room excellent. Always stayed in the same suite and loved it. Easy walking distance to markets, stores and restaurant's. Great coffee on the 2nd floor, and the restaurant served a fantastic western breakfast.
