  Excellent Resort

  This was a great resort, and we really enjoyed staying there. Here are all the positives: The ladies in the office are incredibly sweet and helpful. Seriously nice women! The bathrooms are newly remodeled and are far nicer than the pictures on rci. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. My husband and I both slept very well every night. Everything was super clean except the baseboard behind the bathroom door and the lampshades all of them. The full size washer and dryer were really appreciated so I could keep bathing suits and beach towels clean. The resort has a building on the beach side and another on the gulf side. The gulf side has a pier for fishing, which my son really enjoyed. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent on the beach side at a reasonable cost. The only negative is that the master bedroom is very outdated with mirror strips and cubby storage that made me think of a 1980s RV. However, we were at the beach and didnt spend much time in the room so I didnt really care.

  Beautiful location

  Can't beat the location of the resort. Half the units are Gulf front overlooking beautiful Vanderbilt Beach. We stayed a very short walk across the street on the bay front. Both sides have beautiful well maintained pools and incredible views. The rooms were spacious 2 bedroom units. The walk from the Bayside units were only a few steps to the beach directly across the street.Some construction going on on the beach side units during our stay but that did not interfere ar all with our vacation. I would definitely recommend this resort.

  DO NOT BOOK HERE

  Save yourself the headache-you will be charged with fictitious room damage, you will not receive the room you booked, you will be threatened with trespassing if you have a 7PM BBQ, you will deal with rude staff. On top of all this fun, they are undergoing MAJOR (jackhammers from 8AM-3PM M-F) construction-they will not tell you this over the phone. Lastly the beach leaves a lot to be desired-very narrow and overrun with public beach visitors and the staff do nothing to enforce guests only. WORST place i have ever stayed. Tons of great options nearby-stay away.

  I would give this 0 stars if possible. JACKHAMERS and more every day save weekend. Cannot inhabit unit. How is this on the market? Do NOT COME HERE! Building suffered water damage during prior hurricane. Why is this building not closed during this reconstruction project? Constant noise M-F 8 to 4:30. Debris, dust, exposure to who knows what, noise. Unbelievable that they have allowed this building to remain open--you are living in major construction. Worst facilities we have ever stayed at. I would give 0 starts but that is not possible. Scant hot water

  Vanderbilt Beach & Harbour Club

  Very conveniently located within a few steps of the beach. Property being updated outside with some construction daily. Very clean units and well equipped. View was great. Loved the area and the ease of finding local places to dine and shop. Tons of fun things to do in Naples and surrounding area. Definitely on my return to stay list.
