  Worst hotel I've stayed at in Vietnam

  This hotel feels abandoned. I was waiting for blood to pour out of the elevators and twin girls to chase me on tricycles. We arrived at 9:30pm after a long day of travel and the hotel staff were unfriendly and didn't speak/understand English. Our room was 705 and when we got up there (in the rusted elevator), all the lights were off in the hallways, adding to the very "charming" ambiance. Same with our room, all the lights didn't work, and I had to open the small fuse box and flick all the switches. The room was clean and view was great but the bathroom was dirty and rusted. The bath tub had black stains all over it and the taps were all rusted. I didn't have a shower, that's how bad it was. Anyway, stay here only if you have no other options!

  Big and spacious hotel in Halong Bay

  The hotel was chosen by my mum, and it had a very big feel to it, big lobby, big stairs, big room, big bed, big dining area. It was okay, served it's purpose as a functional hotel. Only drawback was the bathroom showers were low, I had to grab it and manually use it on my body instead of staying under a fixed shower head. The wifi is ok, not quick but better than none. Bed was hard, and I guess it's typical standard of Vietnam hotel quality. The breakfast was great, all you can eat, the chef can do the eggs how you want, and mix of East and West cuisines. The furniture in all areas, from the lobby to my room, were tired and dated, that would be the knock against this hotel, but otherwise are functional and relaxing stay.

  Excellent location with great view

  The hotel is situated right across the Halong Bay with a great view offer for the room facing its front. The room is spacious and full of facilities. Bathroom is clean with strong water system. And even though wifi signal is so poor (from the room, but usable at the lobby), the price is just right.

  Adequate

  We booked through Trip Advisor and paid $52 AUD including the booking fee. Bath about grotty but everything else was fine. Nice views from balcony on 9th floor so we sat and looked at the cable car, Sun Wheel and boats for a while. Staff were accomodating and even had breakfast ready for us at 5am. A huge selection of fruit, noodles, etc. bland tasting but might suit others.

  Medium standard hotel

  We have stayed 2 nights at this hotel last year We got the nice room, with the view to the colourful bridge. Price is reasonable with 30$ per night, breakfast is okay The staff is friendly, show us the way to go to habour for ha Long bay tour
