  Unpleasant stay

  There are a couple of things that could have been better during our stay. I understand it is a difficult situation during the Corona virus but how the hotel handled the difficulties with the guests could have been way better and I hope after reading this they will change their way of working with it. A couple days before our booking we called the hotel for some clarification about dining in the restaurant. We were told we could make a reservation when checking in for either 5-7pm or 7-9pm. We could not make a reservation on the phone. When we arrived we wanted to make the reservation for 7-9 but the only available time was 5-7 because of all the restaurants in town are closed we chose this time. When we were seated we were able to choose from a very small menu. When our first dish arrived (carpaccio) we were surprised that it was smoked meat, it was very different from the carpaccio we expected, when we informed the waiter that it was not put in the menu that it was smoked carpaccio he literally ran away. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Later on we wanted to go for a swim, however without informing us, you have to make a reservation to access the pool and it was fully booked. The swimming pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We spend the rest of our time mostly at the hotel bar, which didnt really provide any basic service. Most of the time we had to walk to the bar and wait for the bartender to come and give the drinks and we had to walk the drinks ourself to the table. These were a few of the weirdest experiences weve had during our stay. Not to mention the staff did not do anything with our complains and said Im sure youre not satisfied but its a very hard time for us too at the moment. I myself have worked in multiple 4 star hotels and this is not how you treat your guests, the 4 stars this hotel has is a shame. (Btw wouldnt recommend booking breakfast, definitely overpriced.)

  Super stay

  We have booked a stay to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and had a seperate room for our children. And if a 14 year old teenager says 'wow! than you know the hotel has done a good job :-)". For her birthday celebration I we had all kind of surprises and arrangements and the hotel was happy to assist us making her birthday an unforgettable experience!!

  What a great experience it was! Although Corona is a major gamechanger it felt really good to be here. Good food, fabulous breakfast and a super staff! We hope to come back as soon as possible. Thank very much for the pleasant stay!

  Very well organised

  Organisation around COVID very well done.friendly and helpful personal..very good breakfast. Recommended highly because of that.rooms are very clean but need a bit modernisation. The bathroom is perfect.

  Not the whole experience for the money paid

  It's understandable that things don't go as planned in a pandemic, but the organization could have been improved. Not being able to use the promised facilities (Spa) as it was described and PAID for is outrageous. It was definitely not a 4-star hotel experience, but the staff was very nice.
