  We were here for a quick bite after a tiring day. The food seems OK, although we had stomach disorders the last two times we were here. Difficult to tell the reason. The food is plentifull but mediocre in preparation.

  Don't go there when it's warm outside.

  The hotel does not have A/C so it is impossible to sleep when it is warm outside. The rooms are very small so they get too hot to sleep in. The bathroom also was small and uncomfortable. Older hotel, rooms have been renovated but are too small.

  Hotel with nice restaurant

  Older and basic van der valk hotel but with quiet location and good beds. A renovation of the bathroom would be in order . Very low water pressure in the shower. The restaurant has good food and a large choise. There is no bar.

  Nice

  It is a very nice hotel and nice staff. We look forward to coming again next year. We have been living with you 3 years now. We come because for the stallions kuring . We have had two teams of friends at the hotel this year, they were also Happy to stay there.

  Three comfortable days in this pleasant and cosy hotel

  The location is comfortable quite and at about 9 km high way distance of Leeuwarden. The hotel is not new but well maintained, a large parking lot is positioned in front and behind the hotel. The lobby is cosy, with a fire place surrounded by a bench, a good place to watch a football match at the large tv screen. The check in went friendly and fast. We got room 17, first floor that is located in a kind of dependance. The first floor can be reached by stairs, there is no elevator. The room was large enough, good beds, two seats and a chair, a work desk and a little table. There are sufficient wardrobes and two site tables beside the beds. The bath room is clean, foreseen with a small bathtub with shower, a toilet and a good sink. The central heating radiators were easy to tune, so the temperature in the room was perfect. There is no airconditioning so in summer it will be quite warm in the room. The wifi worked stable and fast. In the morning they serve a delicious buffet style breakfast with many choises, bread, buns, local cakes, fruit, vegetables, eggs to your choise, yogurts, freshly pressed orange juice, etc. We were satisfied with our stay, also thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.
