  Peaceful pretty home

  The most impression is the Panorama restaurant, which is in Western setting up, luxury indoor and woody floor outdoor. Food is fresh but coffee is not strong enough. Room is clean and full equipped but seems the light is not enough for working. Our room is sea view but unluckily, a big tower, which is opposite to hotel, blinds us, nothing to see and it is not totally sea view deluxe room. The Front office is professional and helpful. We request to early check in, thus that, they follow up our expectation and call us when the room is available. Our hopeless is the cool dirty deep pool with out jacuzzi.

  Nice ambience & pretty hotel

  Room with garden view, clean and tidy but a bit musty smelly (maybe it's in the old building). The staff was very helpful to help with air refresher and oil. But it's not helpful enough because of the smell. The pool is cute but quite small. Their restaurant serves nice food. Just a bit walking from the hotel to catch the beautiful sunset (but took more $ to go down town).

  Very average for the price.

  I am really balanced with this hotel. First they charged me my booking while they said they were taking my visa card just to book the room. The aircon in the room was not working, they gave me a fan and the tv in the room was so old that i was worry it was in black and white. Last but not the least....people goes in the swimming pool with clothes on...disgusting. I remind you that a night is almost 2.3millions... Positive point : good breakfast with view...

  Totally not worth for the price!

  We are a family of 10 people, travelling here for only 1 night. At first, the check-in was nice, the room is new equiped and fully furnished until the most disappointing breakfast that Ive ever had. We waited 15mins to order and 45 more mins for the food to come out. I totally understand that the restaurant can be busy on the weekend and patiently waited. And we saw other table (they came after us) started to have their food and drink, and we still have nothing. I remind the staff once, she respond without a look at me. The second one, I complained why it took so long, she told me that cant I see it was busy there, and ordered me to come back to my seat. You must surprise to know that all of the foods we ordered were mostly bacon and eggs. The food turned out cold and disgusting, the bread is stiff, and no seasoning. What kind of service is that? And they allow outside guests to buy swimming tickets so the pool is always grounded and dirty. And finally, we paid 2.4M vnd (>100$) per room for this poor and low-quality services. Not recommended for anyone!

  Superb Hostel

  We are so pleased with the Valley Hostel. We are in Chalet 2. which appears to be new construction. The kitchen has all modern appliances and our room has lots of windows with gorgeous views. The front desk was very accommodating when we arrived and we were able to store our luggage and food before check-in in the secure luggage room and kitchen fridge. Clean, perfect location, spacious triple room, beautiful views. I would plan to stay here again if I came to Lauterbrunnen for sure!
