  Close to the CBD

  The room was out dated, and it didnt smell the best probably because their were no windows to open, the pillows were pretty flat. But the location was pretty good not far to the CBD of Penrith, the man at the desk was helpful and friendly.

  5 days stay

  Room was ok, the hall way smell moist, not enough ventilation and sun. The lady at reception was on the rude side, not happy about the payment arrangement and really carry on complaining about it. My room was not service every day, look like they were running out of time. Just a new towel if i was lucky. Cleanliness was not of hight standard , lot of cockroaches in hallway staircase with birds dropping and pool not the best.

  Good value, clean & comfortable

  Stayed 2 nights while husband in hospital. The room was comfortable & offered what any motel does. On a busy road but room was very sound proof. Lower level rooms you can park your car undercover outside your room. Staff were very obliging. I would stay here again. This place is also within walking distance to Emu Hall bar & bistro across the footbridge (had dinner there)& the Nepean Rowing Club across the road.

  old style, needs an update but otherwise was ok.

  I stayed for 1 night visiting friends. I walked from the train station and it took about 20min. Friendly receptionist welcomed me and completed a quick check in. Was advised there was a spa in my room but it is now an ex spa room. Was advised to not fill it and use it. Shower was in the spa itself so I hope you are flexible enough to step in. Toilet seat was broken from the bowl and also had a crack in the seat. The bathroom fittings are old style, it just made the place look old. Oddly there was no bedside lamp so i had to climb out of bed to the light switch, which was almost behind the tv. Tea and coffe was supplied. Linen and towels were clean. Otherwise this hotel was adequate. The close location to the town centre, footy ground and pubs and bars, was the best bit. Will I use it again?. Hmm probably but for $130 a night, I'll have a look around first

  NO REFUND

  I will never stay at Penrith Valley Inn again as we were booked to stay (have stayed several times before) for a sporting event which was unfortunately cancelled on the Thursday afternoon by the Penrith Council. We were due to arrive on the Friday night. Many other accommodation places within Penrith gave a refund as they were understanding that the cancellation was not the fault of the customer. This place would rather take the money for one nights accomodation and lose customers rather than refund and keep customers returning. So if your heading to Penrith stay well away from Penrith Valley Inn - all they want is your money - not good customer care
