  We enjoyed very much in amazing nature and staff hospitality with high level of safety management

  We shared Valamar Carollina Villas with our friends, surrounded with a lot of flowers, trees and birds singing; we also combined swimming in the private pool and sea; restaurant Oliva has a great a la carte food and services.

  Still good,but....

  Came here last year when adults only, newly renovated. This year returned to find it family friendly. Staff are lovely & food Half Board package is excellent value & doing their best to cope with corona issues of health & safety. Really like the setting on its own little peninsula- beach has lots of little coves & bays. There are 2 pools ( saltwater) within the complex. However last year, they had security as it is in a small bay with local neighbours. This is where the whole thing has fallen down in service in 2020. They've no security this year & locals & kids tromp thru the grounds, use the toilet facilities & use the lower pool right by the public path. It's annoying that certain guests with children don't manage their spawn but when the pool turns into the locals' lido, it's really annoying - balls & inflatables galore! That leads to another point that management need to take on board - if you want a mix of guests- you have to separate amenities - you have to have a kids area pool & adults / civilised area & state rules. It is also no good to say that there is the sea as a back up option so it negates their responsibility. I pay for the use of a pool& I expect to be able to easily use it. So, in short, it is a nice hotel & ambience, but no way will come back to it unless it sets out a clear structure on its facilities- maybe the corona issue has caused half of the issue, let's hope so.

  Misleading info - They charge sun loungers/beach chairs

  The hotel is charging sun loungers/ beach chairs (10) although on the Booking site there is nothing mentioned like additional charges. When we complained at the reception they said that this is Booking issue not the hotel's. It is MISLEADING information for the guests (especcialy when the hotel charges 280/day)!

  Excellent

  We enjoyed every moment of 3 days stay in this resort! Nice staff, clean and nice beach plus amazing sea view! Restaurant in front of hotel is excellent for lunch, food for breakfast and dinner in hotel is very good. Surely will come back again!

  Still OK, but last year was better

  We spent great holiday in this hotel last year when it was offering all inclusive service and was adults-only hotel. For us (as just a travelling couple) it was much better last year. And together with those bonuses like very nice served dinner once per week, it was more unique, let´s say. But of course, we understand that this year is unique in its own and not nice way, too. We had Premium suite with the sea view, however I already capitulated on getting really nice view and not looking just to the wall. I´m perhaps not among the chosen :-) Hotel staff was perfect, always smiling and greeting, taking care of the healthy measures all the time. Food in the hotel restaurant was also great, but hope for the self service to return again (everywhere, not only here). Hotel gym is still perfect, just booking for the exact time is needed (healthy measure again) - no problem at all. Will be nice to be back but with the same approach as in 2019.
