  Good for me

  I picked the hotel because it seemed good value - 1500 roubles a night for a single room. The hotel was helpful in making arrangements beforehand by email in English and provided a taxi pick up from the airport. The hotel is very clean and tidy inside, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The immediate surroundings are not great, but it's very near a tram stop for the #13 which provides a good service into the city. Rooms are comfy, and have a fridge and nice en suite. They arranged a taxi back to the airport. I found the hotel honest and straightforward while I was there. WiFi is available, but not always. I didn't have breakfast. There is a kitchen you can use, but I just ate in my room using the fridge and kettle. Other guests were noisy a few times, but that's not unusual in my experience and I always take ear plugs, so the hotel was okay for this. There was never anyone in the hotel who could speak English - but fortunately I often had a Russian speaking friend to help. My friend had been told that someone there could speak English, but in my time there never was anyone in the hotel who could. If you need a hotel with someone on reception who can speak English that could be a problem. The hotel was good for me, and I'd use it again.

  Decent hotel, clean and location OK

  Stayed for one night in June, and can say clean European standard hotel, cost 3000 (£60) for 24 hours (2000 if just a night stay) and is much better than the large soviet era hotels that will cost you about the same price. Good bathroom and conmfy bed so for central Russia very good. Take tram 13 from outside the hotel to take you into the centre. Not sure how you;d get on if you don't speak Russian though.

  Optimal price/quality ratio

  We stayed there for 4 nights and found that it was rather good 2-star hotel with a kettle in the room, quite well cleaning quality and a kitchen with a refrigerator. We didn't try the breakfast. It is not the very center of the city, the region is not picturesque, but the tram which could bring you to the opera house is there and it takes about 15-20 min to get the underground by foot. The price in the city's center is usually a bit higher. So we recommend it if you want to get just a good (not luxurious) hotel for a reasonable price.

  Very clean and comfortable

  I absolutely loved the facility. It is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It is located off center but close enough. The location is very quiet. There are a tram, trolleys and buses that connect it to the city center or subway station, the ride takes approximately 10-20 min, depending on where you want to go. The facility itself is newer, is opened 24/7, has a restaurant, "Full Daddy", that is also opened 24/7. Staff in both hotel and restaurant is very helpful and friendly. We arrived in a middle of the night, and the room was waiting for us. We stayed in 2-bed hotel room, it also had a table, two chairs, fridge, tea kettle, and some cups and dishes with silverware. Bathroom and shower were sparkling clean, toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush were provided. Please be careful - tile in a shower is very slippery when wet! Food in a restaurant is reasonably priced and tastes very good. If you need a taxi cab or airport transfer, the hotel staff can arrange it for you, with a discount. Glad I found this place - will definitely stay there again if going back to Novosibirsk.
