  Don't Miss This Gem!

  This is the best place in Saalbach Hinterglemm. There is a reason why they are booked practically every weekend with over two dozen weddings already confirmed for following year. If you can land a reservation, you wouldn't be disappointed with the service, location, convenience, amenities, ambience and hospitality of this lovely establishment. The Hausenauer family take great lengths to ensure a superb Austrian experience. We came with the family (with children from 8 - teens) and was only scheduled for four days but extended to ten. My kids wouldn't leave. If a local friend had not recommended this place, we would not have been wiser and would never have cared. However, now that we've had cake (or should I say torte/kaiserschmarrn), why bother with anything else?

  Beautiful hotel in perfect ski in / out location

  We stayed here for a week on a family ski holiday just before Christmas. It really is a lovely hotel with great staff, lovely rooms, great facilities and perfect location. Literally, the ski lift is a minute from the door and we could ski to the boot room, Very close to the village too, but still peaceful and no noise. Beautiful spa with great pool and relaxation area. Food was always lovely - extensive continental or cooked breakfast, cakes and sandwiches at teatime and delicious evening meal. If the menu is not to your taste, the chef will prepare whatever you fancy. Cosy bar for apres ski or evening drinks, Really recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great holiday .

  The best!

  Spent a week in this amazing hotel on a ski holiday. Wonderful for both skiers and non-skiers. From the moment you step into the lobby you will feel very welcome. Service was above and beyond excellent, as was the accommodations and food. If you have children, they will love all the activities in the kids club. Adults will enjoy the lovely spa, and everyone will love the beautiful pool area. We loved it so much, we've already booked it for next year's ski holiday.

  Located perfectly right next to the slopes and skiing area

  The Unterschwarzacherhof is located right beside the slope and the cable car ("U-Bahn"). As there are also two smaller lifts there, it is also perfect for beginners. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet very much, the pool (also with an outdoor part to swim outside) as well as the massages (my recommendation: take a Thai massage) and the very clean spa area. If you want to have fun after skiing at aprés ski then the "Unterschwarzacher" right next to the hotel is a good place to go: good DJ (could be my grandpa), delicious food and only few meters to go. All in all, I can fully recommend this place. We will come back.

  Great hotel!

  From the moment we arrived on the parkinggrounds of the hotel we were welcomed with such warmth by the owner.... amazing! During our stay his wife Jacky was visible and approachable in the best way she could have been. Chapeau! All staff (and than I mean ALL STAFF!!) is really sincerely friendly and has the needs of the guests as a priority. Our room was beautiful, and was better than the pictures on the website. It was perfectly clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Very good food, high standards and I would like to praise the chefs in the kitchen for thinking out of the box concerning children and the menu. Nice in- and outside pool area with hottub and sauna. Wellness and fitness available as well. The hotel is in a topspot of the village, only 5 minutes by foot. The best apres ski place of hinterglemm Der Schwarzacher is next door as are the slopes. Location cant be beaten! Highly recommended as a hotel for a skiing holiday in skicircus Saalbach - hinterglemm.
